I wanted to like it, some bugs, no fixes cuz it looks like it's a dead product
I had lots of fun with this, you have to check it out if you're into 6-DOF Games :)
Fantastic soundtrack. Eight hours of gameplay easily on your first playthrough; ten if you're unfamiliar with 6DOF games. Fully voiced campaign. Lots of charm. Beautiful graphics. Polished gameplay. Loved the bit at the end where only the Interrupt (red shotgun) works on the final boss. This year it will no longer be for sale. See you space cowboy.

Retrovirus is Descent by way of Tron 2.0. You're an anti-virus "Agent" moving through a very neon world inside a PC, battling to destroy the corruption that threatens to tear it all apart. It's a bit dated now (it came out in 2013) but still looks good, the soundtrack is boppin', there's some clever writing and voice acting, and you can even dig into a hidden story of cybercrime that has no real bearing on the game but adds a very cool layer of "real world" intrigue atop the 6DOF action. It's a really good shooter, especially for the price: It was just $20 at launch, which was startlingly cheap for all it offered, and now it's down to $10. I can't make a solo run to Taco Bell without spending more than that.
Aim, shoot, kill and move on.
Really awesome and innovative shootergame.
çok güzel oyun ama biraz fiyatı düşük olsaymış
Extremely addicting and satisfying core gameplay loop. Reminded me of how I felt while playing Doom 2016 in a way, with the near-constant action of clearing out arenas of enemies. There are occasional light puzzles to break up the action and give you a breather, and hunting for hidden secrets is nearly always rewarded. The moment-to-moment shooting never gets old as the game keeps throwing new weapons, powerups, environments, enemies, and objectives at you (one level has you amassing an army of friendly bots to take down a series of turrets, for example). It's obvious a lot of love and care went into this game - every aspect is polished and refined, including but not limited to the voice acting, music, and visuals. The story was interesting and kept me engaged throughout - I felt driven to keep going and see what happened. The cast of characters that represent different sections of the computer are interesting and frequently hilarious. My only complaint is that there are a lot of multiplayer modes (including a MOBA option??) which feel like unrealized potential due to the low playerbase. This isn't a big deal if you are only interested in single-player or know enough people with this game. I've not played a six-axis shooter before but I had a great time with this. Glad I gave Retrovirus a shot and I can highly recommend it.
Six dimensions of Freedom shotter! Just like Descent, if you remember that. You are the Anti-Virus program of a PC that is infested with a Virus. You need to get rid of that Virus to save the PC. As you fly through the PC and free the programs from infestation by shooting all the bad programs and virus parts, you can collect some data, that lets you learn some skills. The skills can always be changed if you like to try something new or have the feeling another weapon option can get you an advantage in a specific situation. There are E-Mails to collect, wich tell you a little story and context on why things are happening and some interesting Bossfights to win. A fair warning for achievement hunters, there is a bugged achievement that is not possible to get. Also the Multiplayer is dead, so these achievements should also be hard to get. Anyway, I can recommend this game. A unique setting, fun level design, nice graphics and a skill system that lets you try out some stuff. 10€ is a fair price if you ask me, if it is on sale, just get it, you can't do anything wrong with this game!
It's not bad. Maybe some bug or balance but nothing terrible. Best with a discount.
