Retro Kart Rush is a retro racing game that will transport you back to the 16-bit era. Where friendships were made (or broken) by playing multiplayer games in front of the TV.

Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Aug 25 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Better than the first 3 Mario Karts and is a dollar
Fun, Fair, and Fluent Racing at it's best in this Pixelated World. I wish there was a tone to let me know when I hit another player. Also, those cakes are annoying with no warning your gonna be hit and they come at you constantly, even on EZ mode. Can't imagine the frustration on harder modes 0_0... Other than that. GREAT JOB ^_^ Please add Online Play!
+Very good sense of speed +Drifting mechanics are satisfingly snappy (Even sounds like a *SNAP!* every time you drift boost!) +Insane difficulty is a really good challenge for those pretty experienced with kart racers +Good price for its size =The music is open source, so it's not original to the game (But it's not bad!) =Character select oddity: Playing Panda once unlocked seems to be ideal as the other unlockable racers won't go as fast as CPU Panda (who will always be your rivals). I could be wrong though! -Sometimes you get item screwed pretty badly due to lack of invincibility (but that's most item kart racers, right? If you're really good, you can still drift boost your way back to 1st/2nd!) -I do think the rivals/fastest opponents should have been randomized with each cup (I'm kinda encouraged to focus-fire the Panda or Cat even when they're not leading) -One of the achievements (Extrovert) may be tricky to get if you lack controllers (or controller ports on your computer) Recommended If:

You like item kart racers
You like racing games with a lot of drifting/driving skill ceiling
You want a bite-sized game with plenty of challenge
They turned Rainbow Road into a dance floor Works fine so far on SteamDeck
Vraiment un jeu sympa pour le prix. Pour les fans de mario kart qui adorent drifter sur des KMs ce jeu est fait pour vous. Je n'ai pas encore testé en mode multi local. J'attends d'avoir des amis T_T
super fun and simple racing game. i only wish it were updated more and had online support. very worth the price
The character selection bugged out on me. I couldn't select my character without adding another player. Also that second player was bound to the same controls?
Another fantastic game from KuriGameDev! Pays homage to SNES racing games like MarioKart, but still has a strong unique identity all of its own.
The game is fun, but the music is very high-pitched and, over time, makes the gameplay feel annoying. I tried going into the settings to lower the music volume ONLY, but there's no option for that. Fixing this would greatly improve the game, as there are people who enjoy just hearing the engine sounds and playing their own music in the background.
Fun game, quite nostalgic. Reminds of those old arcade games
