Not sure if im missing something but I find it a bit grindy in terms of making money. Have to do dozens of basic jobs to progress. Fun game though
Very very chill and fun game. Perfect for night time daddy mind wash.

First off wanted to say that I don't normally leave reviews for games but felt like I had to for this one. I personally had a great time playing ReStory, it made me feel like I was accomplishing something by putting together different electronics. The gameplay was never truly stressful. When it did become stressful it was because I accepted too many orders online to complete. Even then, you have three days to complete them all and there is no punishment for working through the night to complete them. At a certain point putting together the pieces become rhythmic to the point where i can see myself logging back on and listing to a podcast and completing orders after I complete the story. I did run into one frustrating story bit that led to me not noticing that I did not complete a story mission that held up my progress. The one complaint that I have is that the computer does not list your story mission electronics as orders in progress. The story mission electronics also look like any other item in the game, so if you don't put it in a specific space you can easily miss that you didn't complete it if its a small item like a cellphone or Tamagotchi. I found out 26 in-game days later that I hadn't completed the a cell phone for the landlord. My tip to anyone playing is that if you receive a story mission electronic put it on the shelf instead of on the counter. That way you can easily see it otherwise you can completely miss it like me. All this being said for the price, I think this is easy buy and I would recommend. Its not a overly long game and I enjoyed my time :)
Man I used to tear apart my psp and frankenstein it with parts from aliexpress...the PSP is no longer working but I had so much fun.
Nice casual game. I get sucked in playing, and losing all track of time playing. It's so fun.
✅ Cozy ✅ Chill ✅ Nostalgic ReStory shines best when it leans into the electronics repair mechanics and its dope lofi soundtrack. Throw on some headphones and lose yourself in the vibes. That said, I found the story to be mostly "meh" but it's not a dealbreaker at all — I'm about ~20 hours in I am honestly just skipping everyone's dialog at this point so I can finish buying all the upgrades and access the last few electronics I haven't gotten yet. Overall, I think this is a must-buy for anyone who likes taking things apart and putting them back together, or mellow relaxing simulation games.
