Resident Evil Requiem

Jogão. Muito bom rever Racoon City com meu personagem favorito da franquia. Gameplay irado, muito medo, ansiedade e nervosismo com a Grace. Chefes bons, gráficos lindos, bastante horas de jogo, bem legal. Recomendo

This is just a well made, beautiful game. Easily in my top 5 RE titles. Looks phenomenal while running quite well. The atmosphere and character design is second to none, and the voice acting is downright perfect (there is a certain cutscene in game where Grace screams in horror and it is spine-tingling how well she holds the strain of fear in her voice). I paid full price and I do not regret it at all, in fact, JUST because of the quality of this title, I will pay full price for the next title too. -For performance reference- I am playing game on 1440p native with all graphics and raytracing set to max with an average of 112.8 fps according to my Adrenalin metrics average. One of my favourite RE games. I found the 1st person sections scarier than RE7. I also found it more engaging because of the different enemy types and location. The Leon parts I enjoyed tremendously, but since I played on a controller (streaming to my TV from my PC), it was not the best experience. The zombies move their heads left and right like professional boxers and I could not dial in the controller settings well. Besides that, my two biggest gripes are 1) the puzzles were super easy. I get lots of people will give up if they need to think, but I feel like a simple difficulty slider for puzzles would work well in the new installments. And 2) the large enemies (The Girl for example) were extremely predictable. More than once I would think along the lines of "she's gonna drop down as soon as I grab this item..." and she would do exactly that. It was still fun and scary don't get me wrong, but some more reactions to player noise or zombie noise, and less reliance on story triggers would have gone along way. Overall, however, I highly recommend for any fan of survival horror or the RE series.
