It's Resident Evil, so you know what you're getting except in Requiem it's dialled up to 11. Requiem has you playing 2 protagonists: Grace Ashcroft and Leon Kennedy (back with his knee slapping 1 liners) Only this time it isn't done like in RE2 where you play each character as separate arcs but instead the game will frequently interchange between both of them depending on the story. This leads to the selling point of RE9 (at least for me) which is each protagonist bringing with their own playstyle. To put it simply: Grace's gameplay plays like Ethan Winters from RE7 + 8 and Leon's is, well Leon from RE4. The end result is a nice balance of 'tension and release' pacing, going between feeling like a prey then to the predator. I believe there's a free demo you can try. The demo is only a small portion from the opening of the game but it lets you play as Grace then Leon. The rest of the game will pretty much play in that fashion.
