Very cute, relaxing and all the villager events feel fairly organic. Only gripe I have is it feels as though you should be able to do more in a season than you can in your first year.

A cute game that allows you to tame + farm. Casually played 5 hours in a go as i cant stop playing Edit: after 10 hours of playing it, it gets frustrating how little research you can do while waiting for your crops to grow, though you can pause the research (while i rarely use). No choice but to wait for several days to pass. Days are relatively short, at 15 hours, im half way through summer.

One of the better farming/life sims I have played in a while. The gameplay is uncomplicated but continues to be interesting as you progress. I like the character designs but I do wish there was more depth to the characters story / dialogue. I am currently in Spring year 2 and have yet to run out of content to unlock and things to do. Overall a fun & relaxing game.

I bought this when it was in EA, but found it to bee a bit unbaked so I held off on it until full release and I'm honestly shocked how little has changed. So many QoL stuff and just common-sense conveniences that you take for granted. Like shops have opening hours, but only one shop has a sign saying what they are. Adding to that the extremely limited inventory with no way to cycle hotbars so you need to go drag & drop in the menu inventory any time you need a new items - and even if you make chests they are tiny. Characters aren't written any kind of particular interest - good or bad. Let me say that I love t he idea of this, we need shakeups on the farming sim formula, but it still needs to be executed well and the QoL stuff to make for a pleasant playing experience is key.

It was a really close call on whether to recommend the game or not. I decided to do so because it does have an enjoyable/unique research element that is unlike other similar cozy games and did keep me interested for a while. The game is aesthetically pleasing, the animals/plants are very well thought out, and I can tell they did put a lot of effort into it. However, the game still feels like it's in early access in some ways. The characters lack depth and it feels like there isn't much story for a game with "story" in the title. They need to expand the number of romance options (you mean to tell me I can't romance either of the DILFS?!) and add a lot of dialogue lines. Most of the characters have little more than 2 or three repeated small-talk lines that they ever say. The game just gets too repetitive when all you do is research, care for your farm, and search the mines without any additional substance behind it. BUT, there is potential, so I will come back for future updates.
