Repetendium – A Fast-Paced and Tactical Action-Roguelike After playing Repetendium for over 50 hours, I can confidently say it’s a hidden gem in the action-roguelike genre. The game combines fast-paced combat, tactical depth, and a strong sense of progression, making it incredibly addictive. Gameplay & Mechanics Repetendium delivers an intense and challenging experience where every run feels unique thanks to a wide variety of weapons, abilities, and upgrades. It requires both quick reflexes and strategic thinking to progress deeper into the game’s levels. The enemies are diverse, forcing players to adapt constantly. However, there is a noticeable difficulty shift after Depth 10. At this point, the game moves from being a strategic challenge to feeling almost impossible to survive. The sheer number of enemies becomes overwhelming, and survival depends more on luck than skill or strategy. Strengths + - Huge variety of characters, weapons, and abilities: Every playable character feels unique, and there are endless combinations of weapons and abilities, providing tons of replayability. - Great secrets to discover: The game rewards players who explore and uncover hidden areas and mechanics. - Deep progression: Every run feels rewarding, whether you survive for a long time or die early, as you’re always learning and improving your strategy. - Challenging but fair (until Depth 10): The first 10 levels strike a great balance between reflex-based combat and planning. Weaknesses - - Chaos after Depth 10: The number of enemies skyrockets to the point where strategy almost disappears, and survival is based more on luck than skill. - Lack of explanations: Some mechanics can be confusing for new players, as the game doesn’t always explain them clearly. Looking Forward to the Game’s Development One of the most exciting things about Repetendium is how the developer, "Alex Sollazzo", often adds unexpected but amazing new features to the game. A great example is the latest playable character, a bear, who can call in reinforcements from HQ, control a tank directly, or let it shoot automatically as a turret. Every character in the game feels unique and plays differently, keeping the gameplay fresh. I’m really looking forward to the official release in 2025 and can’t wait to see what surprises the developer has in store. ⭐ Score: 7/10 Conclusion: Fantastic variety and depth, but the balance after Depth 10 could use some improvement. (Will review it again after 1.0 release)
nee - kinda overwhelming selection of characters weapons mods etc. - can upgrade only in 'normal mode' (why 2 modes?) after selecting the character weapon mods etc, Upgrades should be easier accessible from the menu. becuase progression should be the main gameplay loop. - what are those dailies and weeklies really fore? - getting pushed around by mobs is not fun overall it feels too overloaded from the beginning
Just buy it. Perfect Game. Even if you play 5 minutes, its great. This is the total perfection of the vampire survivor genre. Instant classic.
I love your game. it offers replayabilty on buckets. so adictive
chiken
A good game looking forward for future content !
fun roguelike
Good game.
我觉得难度设计的不合理,乍一看是割草爽游,然而肉鸽,这其实很好,但是那些buff很多都有负面收益。有时debuff盖过了buff的收益,导致毫无爽感。
