Regain Earth: First Strike

Regain Earth is a small game from a solo indie game developer. You can't expect Fortnite or COD, but I really like it. If you like a mix of roguelikes, as a 3D shooter and generally small indie games, you will have a lot of fun with it. Feedback is well considered in the community and you can even vote in Discord which features should be added to the game! I think a cool idea and more game developer should do like this. The game and the beta I follow for a while now. And have been looking forward to EA release today very much. I enjoy the game since beta a lot especially as multiplayer with my friends. Really recommend the game! If you like small indie games and shooters, you will also like Regain Earth.

Played almost 240 hours so far - loving the game and the addition of the turrent grenades has added a handy dimension for single players. Looking forward to improving my skills to open higher levels. Really miss multi-player games (Defiance) for the interactions, but I will have to continue as a single player for now. Cheers, Spy57

Kurz und knapp lasst die Finger davon. Das schlechteste Spiel das ich je gespielt habe. Das Spiel besteht zu 100% aus Grafiken aus dem Epic Games Marketplace die lieblos zusammen gekauft wurden. Es gibt Asset Flip Games die nur für den Steam Trading-Card handel entwickelt wurden, die deutlich besser sind als das hier. Es ist ziemlich dreist für diesen Haufen zusammengewürfelter Store Assets 18,99€ zu verlangen. Spielt einfach was anderes :D.

Regain Earth is a great game to play with your friends or even alone. Because of the different difficulties and many enemies and even more weapons, the game does not fail to keep me entertained even after the first matches. I didn't encounter any bugs whatsoever in my playtime, even though it is an early access game and the graphic speaks for itself. The game developer is very open about ideas from the community and tries to make the game as appealing as possible. He even lets the community vote for the next features in his discord channel.

Game is unpolished, but is generally fun. Pricing is too high for this type of game, and should have been under $10 or even $15 CAD. Not worth over $20. While I realize that games are not necessarily made for the purpose of YouTubers being able to make videos, if you expect to have channels market your game for you (ie. free advertising), you CAN'T use copyright protected music. Great game - Unbelievable that it was developed by only one single person. I bet, it took a few thousand hours until this released version. Here are some advantages and disadvantages of current Version (May 2021): + achievements + boss fight + makes fun in single and more fun in multiplayer to climb the official leaderboard + very good communication between developer and community on discord with feature voting As some gamers already noticed: - I would love to see a better AI of the enemies - different reactions of the enemies - more different enemies! - moore weapons!! - mooore maps!!! Ok, the current version cannot be compared to games of huge companies with a bunch of developers, designers, scriptwriters, but it cost less and your ideas for new features will be listened to. Try this out with a friend in Multiplayer to grab your place in the leaderboards Top 10. I like it and give it a thumb-up for its great potential. Have fun.

Verspricht genau das was es in dem Video/Demo. Man darf nicht vergessen es ist noch ein Early Access und ist vor ein paar Tagen raus gekommen. Dafür ist es gut gelungen. Weiter so. Es ist wellen-basierter Shooter. Viel Potenzial! Gefällt mir

Regain Earth: First Strike is a small indie game about killing waves of monsters. A bit rouge-like (rather rougelite) with permadeath. You can play it online in co-op multiplayer, but you have to find someone, I will write more about this problem below. I really like building turrets to have them fight for me. There isn't much of a story, it's all about getting lots of points, unlock skins, unlock achievements, etc. The game is a slightly similar to Killing Floor, but much slower, much less bloody. There is also a paintball-mode, in case someone doesn't like blood in shooters at all. Regain Earth is a very good game in my opinion in that it comes from a single developer! Of course, not comparable to the AAA shooters of the big game companies with millions of budget. It's definitely fun. Unfortunately, you can't find fellow players online. Who wants to play online, must have as friends who also own it. Or ask in the community Discord, but even there you hardly find anyone. So you can only rely on multiplayer if you have friends who play it. Overall for me a pretty good indie game!

It's not bad. The shooting feels good and the graphics aren't bad at all. There are some cool enemies to fight but realistically, there isn't a whole lot of content. Given that the dev obviously has some talent, I would love for them to use this as a springboard to create a cool narrative experience. i had a glitch the first time i bought the game that wouldnt let me aim because my cursor would move to my other monitor and i would just click things. the solo guy making this game reached out and it inspired me to buy the game again becasue it was still on sale. VERY WORTH THIS GAME IS BAD ASS!!!!!!!!!! HOP ON BOYS!!!!! ALL THIS GAME IS PURE ALIEN CARNAGE WITH BAD ASS PROGRESSION!!!!!!!!!!
