Gambling app This app is a glorified gambling app. The designer ratings, lucky snaps, prize wheel, collecting cards, etc. are all just gambling mechanics so you spend money on buying more in game tokens.

Gets worse each day Expensive, not real voting, since it was sold this game kind of sucks.

Losing designer status your designer status lowers the longer you do not play. Which is bs because it discredits all the time you put in playing this game. im not playing ever again until they stop doing this. Everyone deserves to keep their status because its takes ALOT of time to gain the status. Almost promotes being addictive screen time.

Best of Them All I play all the games … Venue, Design Home, Garden Joy, and Redecor … and this one is the only one that you can truly play for free. You can earn coins by just playing. In the others, you can’t earn more than you spend. … the more you play, the more your “bank account” decreases. In Redecor, I’ve accumulated 7.2 million coins by simply playing every day. To support the game, I do purchase the Season Pass, but it’s not necessary to earn a “profit.” Redecor rewards you with coins by submitting designs, completing challenges, and playing every day. You can earn items by watching videos, but that’s not required. I really look forward to Redecor every morning, and I’m trying to accumulate 10 million coins by Christmas. :)

Taste level dropping App works fine but now not relaxing due to too many bells and whistles and shallow "beauty" and tacky cosmetic elements (see: nail polish). Has become busy with 10 things to click through before playing.

Unplayable without Spending How good you are at designing has less relevance than how much money you can throw at the game. A great app has been completely ruined and cheapened by the developers.

Everything is behind a paywall. I can barely do any designs after playing for weeks because it is so hard to earn anything to unlock/ buy unless you pay for it.

Terrible cash grab I had an account a few years back, logged back in, and while my coins stayed, all of the season pass items (some of which I paid for!) and items I unlocked disappeared. It’s basically unplayable unless you devote a lot of money since so much is locked.

Good, but… I played quite a bit a few years ago, and it remains a beautifully-constructed game. However, far, far, far too many design options remain “locked,” including design options I had previously unlocked. This just absolutely ruins the game. I deleted it from my phone at least a year ago; missed it and came back; same problem. Deleting it again. Such a sad waste of potential for this game.
