About
Red Triangle Games' collection of short OHR.RPG.CE games all in one place! Ten great games to start with more games added over time, all absolutely free. This bundle showcases not only Red Triangle Games but also several members of the Hamster Republic community, showing that with this little RPG engine, you can make just about anything. These titles are special to Red Triangle Games because they are made with dear friends and are some of the earliest titles that we've produced, revisited for this release. There's something for everyone in this collection!
Scare Spree, a spooky romp around town where you try to unlock costumes and scare townspeople and monsters in three unique locations.
Graffiti Goose, a mouse based puzzle game where you use your knowledge of mixing paints to get the high score. You'll have to act quick to reach the end.
Video Goose, a short point-and-click adventure game with a quirky store about a video rental store owner who is down on his luck, and the misadventures of the goose he hires in his desperation for success.
Missing You, a short arcade game where two hearts unite under a starry sky. You play as a falling star from one trying to reach the other.

Block Bonanza, a battle puzzle game styled after classic match three style games with a ghastly cowboy twist.

Reviews
This is a review specifically about the sole RPG included in the Red Triangle Super Collection, so if you're looking for feedback on the other half-dozen-plus games, you'll have to go elsewhere. What do you get when you take rapidly shifting cutaway scenes, gags, and meta commentary, and shove it into an rpg whose premise is about a character spiraling into madness? You get Cthulhu's Paradox. Cthulhu's Paradox is ultimately a game about some guy named Fenrir (no relation) and some works that he inspired. Or at least RMZ's interpretation thereof. I can't say it's 100% accurate, but it's funny, and I can take a joke. We play as Cthulhu, who seems to be having a bit of an identity crisis, reliving scenes from a variety of some lesser known OHRRPGCE games, and then a few others for good measure. The game's opening act is more or less the second fifteen minutes of the game Vikings of Midgard - so if you're familiar with that, you might recognize a few familiar locations and characters. If you haven't heard of it, you don't need to worry about being lost. It's all a setup to pull the rug out from under the player, though many of the gags in Cthulhu's Paradox require at least a passing knowledge of relatively recent OHRRPGCE-community related stuff. The general gist an outsider would probably get would be that furries are weird but mostly harmless, working retail is its own special hell, and that garden gnomes are not to be trusted. Some of the jokes are hit and miss, but most of them are good natured. I didn't get the Seinfield reference, but I can appreciate the work that went into it. Being an RPG, there's a small bit of exploration and some good ol' late 1990s inspired jRPG shenanigans. Despite that, don't get too comfortable thinking you'll be stuck in some generic medieval inspired fantasy game, because you'll quickly find yourself forced into a playthrough of Not-Mario2, or have to cover a shift working at the world's most depressing inconvenience store. It's a wild ride. You're also somewhat on a railroad track with this one - when you're offered a narrative choice, you have to pick the one that the game WANTS you to pick (even if it's not one that Cthulhu himself would go with). Pure insanity. Five slimy tentacles out of five.

"Red Triangle Super Collection" is a collection of garbage tier minigames that make 1990's Flash games look like masterpieces. The gameplay in these minigames is worse than the art style. This features really godawful pixelcrap "art" instead of real graphics. It's hard to say if this was because the developer didn't have the skill to do the job of creating 3D visuals, or couldn't afford to hire someone who does, but it also doesn't matter. What matters is that this looks much worse than most other games because of that decision, and that's a major deterrent to gamers. Games like Terraria and Stardew Valley succeeded despite the bad graphics, not because of them. Not every "free" game really is. There's often MTX, or content locked behind DLC, or donations being requested, or any other number of things that could mislead gamers, but in this case I'm glad to say this really does appear to be a fully free game. Nothing demonstrates a developers belief in themselves and their work than giving it away without any remuneration. This is a service to themselves, and the gaming industry, and should be applauded. Of course, just because something is free, doesn't necessarily mean it's valuable. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 2 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Nope. This isn't worth downloading. While this didn't cost me any money up front, I still feel ripped off.
