Reviews
At the current state of the game, I have to say I can not recommend it and had to refund it in the end. I think it sounds interesting and fun. I was very curious where the stories would take me. I like the quirky character designs too, very cute. I wanted so badly to enjoy this game. Anyways, I don't write reviews often so don't mind my messy writing, sorry. Plus points: quirky, cute character designs. the stories (as far as i could read in their first appearances only sadly - more to that later) seem simple but charming in their own manner. I would have loved to explore them further. But unfortunately I had to ask for a refund and that is where we come to the heavy negatives. I rarely refund games or do long reviews at all... but I felt compelled since there were so little reviews in general on this one (which is understandable since it is relatively new). Since it relies mostly on text and story (which i usually love in a game), it has become pretty much unplayable in just a few rounds of playing due to UI issues and text box errors. Additionally it misses a bunch of basics like settings: for graphics and UI scaling, audio, full screen option, etc. (simple basic settings would suffice and are needed in my opinion, i don't mean anything too complicated). Or maybe they're just not easy to find? I'm pretty experienced with these things but unfortunately, could not find anything useful and even the ESC button did nothing. Firstly the major issues that make the game irritating: A few rounds into the game the text boxes become totally unreadable. A lot of text and buttons are suddenly overlapping each other, making everything look like a mess and, like I said, unreadable to the point of not being able to even play the game. A lot of control buttons are missing (because I thought maybe it could be fixed with scaling the UI or fonts differently but there were no options at all available, any at all in general. Game that focuses on the story but won't let you actually read or go into the settings to adjust is unfortunately unplayable when it causes these kind of issues; I'm too annoyed with it since it can't even be played properly because of all the unreadable text and overlays in the UI that hide important info. Sometimes clicking on things doesn't work either. There is no exit button to the game either once you're in; since it's preset is a window, you have to press the standard x to leave the game; that isn't a big bother but if the ESC button doesn't do anything, it is kind of weird. Also, from the little I could play, I couldn't really fully grasp the major setting/goal of the general plot itself. It seems like an unspoken question unanswered. But maybe if I could play further, I would understand? I don't know since it became unplayable to me so soon. I'd love to try the game maybe at a later time again, once it is more stable and these kind of issues are fixed. Like I said, I genuinely think it has good potential, seems interesting and looks adorable, but for now I unfortunately can neither play it nor recommend it to others at the current state. I would like to abstain from paying for something that does not fully work and is stable yet, since this is not an Early Access product either where that would be understandable. I genuinely want to like this game since it seems right up my alley, so I'll be looking forward to updates/fixes. Will definitely keep an eye on this game! :]
The music in this game is fantastic! -Definitely not biased composer for the game
Pretty game so far, the artstyle and music is nice and charming, I very much like the look of the characters I've been able to see. Gameplay wise Im sorta just wobbling through rolling dice with big number as seems thats my understanding. Unfortunately my play gets stopped multiple times in 30 minutes (And me not learning to start saving before clicking on any of the items) As clicking anything that isnt gold, a person, or dice augments causes the game to crash. First day so I know all too well some things just happen so I'll keep my paw up and check back on the game for sure for a real play.
