RC Flight Simulator 2020 VR

I almost did not purchase this game because of all of the negative comments, but being an avid RC'er I said what the heck! I know this is no "Real Flight" program, but c'mon for 10 bucks it really is worth the money, and then some!

Not Great. I love the idea of a VR RC flight experience but this release version has lots of flaws in it's physics. The feeling of the flight just isn't realistic. Most of the planes are under-powered and sluggish, the gliders only have 60 seconds of usable fuel time, and the helicopter/drones don't feel real at all. I would spend the money on Clearview if you want an RC fight sim, this one hasn't done it's homework.

Very enjoyable so far! Always wanted a real RC plane but never had the time but this is a great option. Lots of aircraft to unlock with flight time, can't wait to get to the jets! I'm sure the physics can be worked on and I suspect the devs will update in the future. if you're looking for an ultra realistic sim this might not be for you at the moment so you'd have to pay £100 for RealFlight. If you're after a bit of fun, this is excellent!

The video for this game made it look more detailed than it really is, The plane operation and flying is pretty good , but the helicopter and quadcopter flying defintely needs an update to make the movements more fluid, they feel like they are models just moving about in the air and don't seem to follow any aero dynamics rules and I've flown quite a few real ones to know how it should feel. It also give the impression in one video that your place might be up on the frame for erm? modification fixing I guess but nothing like that is possible in the game. You start on the runay so theres no taxi to the runway etc. The jets are pretty slow also so don't get too exicited waiting to unlock those. Here's hoping for an update soon and despite the shortfalls I'm a hopeful fan.

Nice game .. i was really excited to play this but i have to say its needs work .. Helicopter and Quad's are quite unusable and unrealistic to fly i think ? Planes take a bit of practice to fly as the controls can be twitchy and all the planes pretty much fly the same ? I was expecting some basic flying with the trainers to 3D flying and then some high performance flying with the jets but it was really just more of the same ... Sorry guys i really do hope you improve on this game as it really does fill a gap in the market :) Also as for the price for the game i do think asking over $40 is a bit steep for what it is at them moment ? Oh also i noticed the rudder rotates on the Y Axis ? Look forward to many new updates :)

I got what I wanted from an RC simulator -- I think the flight physics aren't perfect, but they're easily good enough for you to learn the muscle memory to control an RC plane while standing on the ground. For me, it took a lot of crashing before my brain finally rewired itself to control a plane flying toward me. So the simulator was well worth the price compared to the replacement plane parts! And it has a good user experience for training -- you're immediately reset on the runway after a crash so you can try again; no cutscenes etc to waste time. Note this is clearly a training simulator to help you learn, not a game with a story and stuff. So you'll want this if you're about to fly an RC plane and don't want to crash it.
