Raw Nerve is a slippery, small driving sandbox in a psychedelic galaxy. Take a casual rip or speedrun to the summit for a top time. It’s one truckin' awesome ride.

Necesito maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaas.
Wow, a satisfying 20minute journey through a cool dreamscape with fun driving. Its the kind of driving where you can turn yourself well with acceleration. Really refreshing and cool, i recommend turning the music all the way up, wish. you could turn it up more!

great game for a solid 10 minutes
"Raw Nerve" is a very badly made single player "cart racer" without other carts to race against... so more of a speedrunner challenge as the (single) map the game has is a convoluted mess, and the idea that you're in some kind of low friction low gravity space environment or whatever seems more like a cover for the developer not knowing how to make a racing game properly. This comes across more as a tech demo or a weekend home project or something than a fully fledged, professional attempt to make a product with any value for gamers. The game is really simple and unambitious in terms of implementation, more of a tech demo or one of those cases where an amateur developer spends $100 to publish something on Steam Direct to see if it's possible. Yes, obviously it's possible. A proof of concept, tech demo, or something that's less than a little blip on the radar isn't offering anything truly valuable to gamers. In terms of visuals, this features fairly low quality low poly 3D graphics which will deter a lot of gamers, understandably. Gaming is a visual medium, and while some developers struggle with creating high quality visuals, failing to do so is a disservice to gamers. It's very difficult to recommend bad looking games. Now on to pricing and value for gamers. This is "free" enough (not every "free" game in the "free" section is truly free, there's usually some hidden price tag), at least you won't be expected to spend any more money after you download this, but just because something is free doesn't mean it's good, and the cost of a game is more than just financial, your time is valuable too. In terms of public reception, this failed. There's over 130 million unique gamers visiting Steam every month. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 10 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Not this time. This isn't worth downloading. While this won't cost you any money, you get what you pay for, and sometimes, even when the game is free, it's still not enough.
The car drives like a drunk man on an icy lake. And yet is still somehow fun.
I liked scaling walls and collecting the artifacts the wrong way
porabola
One Level and very short. Wish more levels for a bit of challenge yet you race one course to get a good time.
