So for a Solo Devs first game its definitely better than I expected. The lightning strikes and lighting are quite well done and my first time playing the gun worked great ( it wouldn't work yesterday after an update to the Mines im assuming they're related ) There are a few things I would add to make it a little more user friendly, when I was done every side quest I was stuck waiting for the beast to come to me ( I had used the potion prior couldnt get a second one ) Maybe if possible turn up it's aggression when nothing is left to do. Also an indicator or check mark next to what side quests have been completed A few bugs that were addressed like the Mines exploding have been fixed so thats awesome the creator does care about his project. Over all for their first game its a little rough around the edges but absolutely promising for the creator. I would lower the price a little bit as for me in Canada its about 9 bucks. Not over priced but definitely a lot of competition in that range.
For a one man developer team this game gives a lot. It takes inspiration from a few hunting style exploration games. The item system is quite developed and offers different playstyles. There are hints around the map about the forest and it's peoples tale of corruption. Overall I both recommend this to people who like theese types of games, and to those who never played with such, as it is very begginner friendy and easily understandable. Looking forward for future updates lore-vise, and quality of life updates too.
[Dec 2025] Finally, Critical bugs are fixed, and I have completed a game. The ending is so boring, but the gameplay has some atmosphere. [Release version] Loading from saves are broken. I can't complete the game. [EA Version] I played the demo and expected that the full version would at least fix the old bugs, but new ones were added to the old ones. Overall, the game feels like a little bit upgraded demo that was just released for release. Sad
