Ransomware Dating Sim

A quirky and adorable subversion of a dating game with a very absurdist and Monty-Python-esque brand of humor. Extremely nerdy and full of programming and computer science jokes and references. I laughed out loud at multiple points. If you're not a computer nerd of some kind you might not get a lot of the jokes, but if you are and just want something lighthearted and fun, I would definitely recommend this game. Note that this game is more an interactive story than anything else. The green 'code' panel has somewhat sarcastic and teasing criticisms of how the other characters are acting, or what's currently happening in the game -- it has vibes of the Milton Library Assistant from the Talos Principle (and sometimes so does the bee host character). Also, I'm not sure if the green code panel and the bee are supposed to be separate entities or if the green code panel is like a glimpse into the runtime code behind the bee? In either case the interaction between the two cracked me up at quite a few points. The bit-tunes songs are HILARIOUS -- like seriously, just go through all of them. You'll get to one that you think is just a nice, normal techno song, and then suddenly THE SINGING STARTS. I outright cackled.

랜섬웨어와 연애하는 비주얼 노벨 총 10종류의 랜섬웨어와 연애하면서 마지막 날 마음에 드는 프로그램을 최종 연애 상대로 선택하면 되는 게임이다. 비주얼 노벨이다 보니 텍스트 양이 적지 않은 편인데, 선택지에 따라 호감도가 변한다거나 사탕을 줘서 좋아하는 랜섬웨어의 호감도를 상승 또는 하락하는 등 의외로 연애 시뮬레이션에서 볼 법한 요소들을 충실하게 구현해 놓은 모습을 볼 수 있다. 이 게임에서 가장 마음에 들었던 점은 캐릭터성이다. 랜섬웨어마다 성격이 천차만별이며, 랜섬웨어의 사기 수법이 각각의 대화와 성격에 마치 진짜 인간처럼 묻어나오는 점이 마음에 들었고, 대화에서 묻어나오는 사기 수법을 읽어내서 사기당하지 않는 것도 게임 진행에 중요하다. (고의로 당하지 않는 한 그럴 일은 없겠지만, 사기를 당하면 해당 날을 처음부터 다시 시작해야 한다.) 문제점은 게임성이었는데, 중간중간에 나오는 미니게임은 조작감도 구린데 직접 해보면 호감도 하락만 불러올 뿐이라 나중에는 그냥 esc키로 다 스킵하게 되었다. 또한, 엔딩에서 나오는 갑분턴제게임도 너무 작위적인 느낌이 들었고, 게임의 엔딩을 보고 다회차를 하고 나서도 안 풀린 떡밥이 너무 많아서 제일 좋은 엔딩을 봐도 찝찝한 느낌만 들게 되는 게임이었다. 개인적으로 잘 풀어나가다가 엔딩에서 다 망쳐버리는 게임을 제일 싫어하는데, 이 게임이 바로 그런 게임의 부류에 속한다고 생각한다. 결론적으로, 아이디어는 좋았으나 이를 보여주는 방식이 마음에 안 들었던 게임이다. 만약 다음 게임을 내게 된다면, 좋은 아이디어와 좋은 게임성이 같이 어우러진 게임을 볼 수 있으면 하는 바람이다.

This is a well made game and I am not much of a dating sim guy so how the game was going made me lose interest fast but besides that it is good.

I like this game but I've been playing forever and I still don't have any of the achievements
