This game is amazing! If you are a fan of or have ever competed in any shooting contest, this is it! I just got the game and i can tell im gonna play the CRAP out of this. Some suggestions to settings tho: Add a click right or left to turn around instead of the swipe thing going on because that gets easily triggered. Lock the belt completely to head movement! The way it is now i have to look down every time i go for a mag or my pistol because i dont know what rotation the belt has gone to. Theres also a slight bug when you reach for the gun after the timer starts. If you have your hand ready (gun lights up) to grab it, as the timer starts you sortof have to reset your hand position in order to grab it again which isnt a big deal but a quality fix. If these things get fixed and you keep adding content, i will forever play this game. It is literally all that iv'e wanted out of vr since i got my first vive headset!
Not bad, except for desperate rifle accuracy and horrible movement control.
I'm just spending all my time on "World Of Shooting" which is pretty much the same concept so seeing everything comes to life on VR is really exiting and fun but this game is not as engaging for some reason not a lot of guns to try outkinda boring scoring system adjusting the fixed stock will only apply to the assault and not to the shotgun the belt.. ohh the beltt - why devs never get this right?! tutorial is kinda poor finally we can move around freely with the controller - which is great the CQB maps are a crime against gaming - just not educating nor fun no maps for training and have fun - I wish there were a workshop so to let the community create fun maps trying to use the weapons fast - is clunky - the controllers will hit each other on reloads, you can't throw one controller to shoot the pistol like a pistol. nice graphics - amazing how you can actually see the bullet fly sound is good - lacking some "Punch" to the shot rhythm is good - fast loading fast maps replace really got me thinking on the safety - never seen this in VR setting options are nice i'll keep playing see where it goes :)
I experienced this game on the vive pro with a wireless adapter. The game is great, the included courses of fire are challenging, the guns are a lot of fun to use, the LPVO they have is clear and the variable zoom articulates between 1-8x. If you have joysticks on your wands, or dont mind the bad vive controls, and are interested in the game, get it and try it out, you wont be disappointed. Unfortunately, as of Nov 2023, the game lacks any significant settings that allow for the use of gunstocks and fine movement on the Vive wands. I don't have a word for the vive controls other than rough. It is like a touch to move, but to start moving, you must slide of your thumb a short distance on the trackpad and if you press the touch pad in at all while moving, you stop. Adding to this, the sensitivity of your movement speed is still-to-sprint in about an 1/8" movement where the only setting to help is making the trackpad deadzone larger, without scaling the movement speed to the remaining area leaving you with either walking or sprinting unless you spend time slowly moving your thumb to find a comfortable speed to accurately move to shooting boxes. This problem is made worse when attempting to reload and move at the same time leading to you having to decide whether to reload or move, and unnecessarily wastes time or dings you on time for stepping out of bounds while you're trying to figure out how to go at a walking pace in a game about how fast you can shoot the course. (-_-) (sad face) Apart from the Vive specific issue, the use of gunstocks could be described as "scuffed". The current gunstock calibration method mostly gets the AR right. The gunstock calibration, however, does not calibrate the shotguns along the same line as the AR and is unusable when your wands are attached to the stock. You can choose to calibrate for either one, but not both. I'm refunding for now, I'll repurchase the game once they get some more time to push updates. The devs have a kanban, or roadmap, and are mostly active on their discord. I'd say buy it if you like shooting games in VR and want something a little different, or enjoy shooting sports and don't mind free handing vr guns.
Warning for anyone comparing this to H3VR this is not it. This is a 3gun/uspsa competition Vr game theres not alot of weapons because competition scene is not full of weird ♥♥♥♥ and belt feds. This is a solid game to work on some basic shooting fundamentals and what it promises it does very well. The devs are active and open to talk and take suggestions on the discord. Weapon functions are nice and prebuilt stages are good and offer some challenge even if you have shot comps in the real world. The price is a bit high for what it is but this is early access and the plans for it are nice and make it worth it once implemented i recommend this game for people who cant go out and train as much as they like and need to scratch there competition itch. Go fast, dont ♥♥♥♥ it up.
Well worth the price of a box of ammo. Controls are good, graphics are fine. Sound is good. Voice commands are nice and more than I expected. It's what I was hoping for. Some requests for the devs (after only 41 mins of play, since I won't do this again): I'm sure you're aware and trying to fix it, but my real LPVO doesn't work like the one in game. Moving your eye in and out doesn't change the zoom, it just creates a black ring around the edge. Also, on 1x power, both of my eyes see the same thing in the same spot even when one eye looks through the scope. Similar for higher power, the two spots are concentric. I can force that to happen in game but it's not natural. Can you churn out a few less realistic guns that are focused on placement of sights, hands, and magazine? For example, optics / red dots of various heights, bullpups, and foregrips. Please hear me out about the reasons why. First, I'm using a VR rifle stock, so I want the option to make the rifle and the shotgun placements the same (the pistol grip shotgun with a red dot was close). Second, the sight and hand placement made me lose controller tracking on the default shotgun. Third, I'd like the option to match my real guns. I don't care if it looks like a toilet paper tube duct taped to a broom. Edit: I found that the AK and the Benelli match enough for my stock. Careful what you wish for right?
