Energy cap My only real big complaint is the energy cap, even as a decent sized spender the energy cap is the one thing that constantly annoys me. Energy cap should match the amount of free auto battles you get a day.

It's a fun game but it's also heavy into pay to win First every single time you go back to Home Screen or your base you always get a ad. Then they sometimes ad the "you will never see this again are you sure you want to close". WHICH IS REALLY ANNOYING AS I HATE GAMES THAT ADVERTISE WITHIN THEIR OWN GAME. Anyway every single new player is given a free legendary which is cool until you realize you didn't use a code to get one yourself and now In arena EVERYONE HAS A LEGENDARY (WHICH CAN BE LEVELED UP HIGHER THAN MOST CHARACTERS YOU GET IN THE BEGINNING OF THE GAME) this makes it so it's hard to fight people when the whole point of arena is to test your power against other players characters. Then you need multiple of the same leveled characters to level up your own character. This basically means to level up a four star character, you need other four star characters and I meant multiple. Right now all my main characters are level 40 with 4 stars. We mainly are getting three star and below with the only two lowest summoning shards that conveniently do not have a mercy system( if you keep summoning, eventually a mercy system kicks in and gives you a higher rating character) So for me not to spend real money I need to level up and ascend to a higher star rating a bunch of other character just to sacrifice them for your main characters. This can definitely come off as me just complaining but it feels like they made it so hard to level up to make you spend money and I do like games that take a really long time but I wish I knew I'm the beginning that I had to level up a bunch of characters to sacrifice to my main ones before I got so deep into it. Again it also sucks that every time I go to main menu they talk about spending money on shards or something else to buy.

April 2020… Var-Gall… Var-Gall is my favorite character… one problem, I don’t have him… he is not a trader legendary, he can’t be created (not anymore)… I love the skullsworn species and hope that they get a mythic representing them… but with Var-Gall, if I wanted to get him… I would have a 0.5 of getting a legendary (200/1), over 300 legendary champions… I have a 0.001 chance… that is 100,000 shards… just to get Var-Gall out of that amount of champions if I’m unlucky… so I’m asking if there could be a reappearance of him because I have tried for years to get him, nothing. I don’t know if you guys reply or not, I just want to see if you guys will see this message because I have cried out once for his return back in 2023 I believe, then 2024, and perhaps maybe 2025… I seek his reappearance.

If money is of no concern… If money is of no concern then you can basically buy your way through this game at such exorbitant prices that you could easily buy a new car. The gameplay itself is good for a turn based RPG aside from time gates, paywalls and extremely limited resources to start with. Not to mention the excessive amount of harassment of buy this or that to boost your chances, characters and resources after almost every time you level up or accomplish something. Worst part about it is that the summoning drop rates are absolutely ABYSMAL. It’s been almost 3 weeks since I started playing and I am seriously starting to regret ever giving this game a chance. Despite the awesome lore or character design and gameplay mechanics or skills, none of it makes up for the fact that it is simply a well designed cash grab game to lure you in and sap your savings account. I’m giving it more time to decide whether or not to continue entirely as f2p or cut my losses on the small amount of money I spent on in game purchases. Do yourselves a favor and take my advice, start f2p don’t spend any money and reach player level 42 to unlock the altar of souls and then decide if it is worth your time and money. Also extremely important to make use of the character promo codes on the first 3 days as you can only use 1 promo code per day and character codes for new players on the first 3 days only. After that you have a limited amount of codes that work as well as temporary seasonal codes that come with times events. My original review was 2 stars this one is 3 considering the gameplay and its quality of life. I refuse to give up more stars until I see an reason to retract any of my statements. App Freezes This app starts to load and then freezes. It is only on IOS. Android and in my laptop works fine. This has been two days straight.
