One of my favourite VR games :) Always enjoyed fast-paced cooking games, and this is by far the greatest one I've ever came across. The creativity and development of this game is spectacular. Fast-paced, multi-tasking and overall super fun! Highly recommend. I will always come back to this game every once a while for the 5 min modes.
This is both a good cooking game AND a good VR game. It keeps recipes/cooking mechanics simple with a steady increase in difficulty that adds on more, still simple, tasks that lead you to juggle things. It has breathing room for prepping things to make future orders easier and doesn't penalize you for doing so. But it also makes good use of being a VR game by giving you a need to actually move, but not excessively so. Unlike some cooking games (*cough* Cooking Sim VR *cough*), it feels intuitive and not like something that was made with the VR mechanics as a secondary thought. It also gets bonus points from me for being set up in a way that makes motion sickness not possible, because it keeps the space small enough to not need any kind of character moving mechanic. Overall, having a lot of fun playing this so far - still only in the first level of it but definitely looking forward to 100%'ing this thing!
You cannot move with the joystick or otherwise move around except for turning irl. Meaning if you have a wall next to you irl or are otherwise in a small play space, you can't get to the ingredients or tools you need to make something because you'd have to reach 2 feet through a wall and you can't move your character. So not worth it unless you have a wide play area. You need full 360 degree area around you to move you walk freely. About 3 feet in all directions. If you don't have that, you will not be able to craft some recipes or reach things around you. It looks fun and I wish I could play it, but I can't.
It's fun, a tad bit stressful at times (in a good way), and it feels really good when you get a good rhythm going!
Very good game, highly recommend to get it when it's on sale. About 3-5 hours of gameplay, but as you progress you unlock new recipes and areas so it's always fresh and never feels repetitive. its fun
Fun VR cooking game. Starts easy and builds in intensity like most of it's type. Played on Quest 3 via Steam Link app (WIFI).
this is a real hidden gem. never I expected such a great cooking game (and I got it at a discounted price of $1). Even at $10, I think this could be still worth it. it might not be far fetch to call this the best vr cooking game for now. u start from cooking and serving to peasants, to nobles, to royals. So, it's like u have 3 big stages, and each u have to play couple times (lots of times actually) to get 10000 money to get to the next stage. Each time would be just like 3 minutes (iirc). Each stage have its own cooking recipes, so it's like u have 3 cooking games. In between ur journey to get the 10000 money (on each stage), there are some checkpoints where u get more recipes, and it's getting tougher bit by bit. I'd say the progressing is good and almost on point. It just felt a bit too fast that it always keep me on my toes. Sometimes I felt like I just getting used to all the recipes that I have, only suddenly gotten another new recipe and it throw the pacing all over again. U used those money to buy upgrades (which are really2 helpful). Sometimes it feels hopeless to get all the people to be happy, but 1 upgrade could change it that u could see hope. But even with all the upgrades, it's not easy. It was very hectic battle on ur 240 degrees cooking space to prepare the food and serving them for each customers. At the end of the day, it felt satisfying when I did a perfect job and could get all the customers happy. I just got to the nobles and I have played 5 hours. So estimation time should be like 7.5 hours till the end of the campaign. If u're a completionist or really2 like the game, there's still another mode like 5 minutes mode. On the downside, I experienced crashed 2 times . It hangs when I was in tutorial when I get to the next stage. Fortunately, it auto saved just before it, so I just have to closed the game, and opened it again, and I dont lose any meaningful progress. But it would be good if the dev could fix this so the experience could be smooth all the times.
Tons of fun! Got it on sale for $2 and it was easily money well spent! Highly recommended if you like fast paced cooking games that are a challenge!
