Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.71/day in the week to Jul 30 → 0.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Great gameplay, atrocious story and ambience and everything that made Rage 1 great.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 16: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

I remember this game as a Vast, Open world game with a good combat system. Problem is... I remember very quickly running out of things to do in this vast, Open world game, with a good combat system. After a day of doing things in this vast, open world game with a good combat system, I was bored and found myself thinking. "I'm not sure what I should do next in this vast. open world game with a good combat system." That's simply because I got tired of the combat in this vast, open world game, with a good combat system. I can't even remember what the story was about in this vast, open world game with a good combat system. I don't even think the music was memorable in this. vast, open world game, with a good combat system. TLDR: There are other & better games They also will have, memorable stories, Memorable music, Memorable characters, Good Voice acting and be a vast, open world game, with a good combat system. Someday I may return to this vast, open world game, with a good combat system and update my review. to see if there was more to this vast, open world game, with a good combat system but for now. Nah. Keep looking.
RAGE 2 is like RAGE but for FPS games for it's time. Pretty fun gameplay but nothing mindblowing elsewhere RAGE 2 is sequel to Id-Software Post-Apocalyptic Open World FPS game RAGE. Developed by both Id Software AND Avalanche Studios. It follows Walker a resident of Vineland, as they take up the mantle of being the last Ranger. A kind of super-human force-of-nature that serves to make the Wasteland a better place. And follows them as they do random stuff across the expansive open world to take down the Authority, those bad guys from the first game. The game expands upon some mechanics that were established in the first game, such as a the driving and looting aspects but also doing a lot of it's own thing. Though despite that, it still kinda just manages to be simply "good and not amazing" just like the first game. Gameplay of RAGE 2 most consists of wandering around the open world either completing stuff for the main questline or simply exploring for notable locations. As such, compared to the first game, the open world is way more, ahem, open this time as well as being far less railroaded. As with there being plenty of stuff to do on the side. This however had come at the cost of areas feeling unique from each other. As while there is a lot more locations, theres a lot less variety in terms of design. Since before the levels were tailor crafted for their purpose and not assembled using pre-existing parts. This kinda leads to them just starting to blend together but it is thankfully held up by the solid shooting experience. RAGE 2's on foot combat can be split into two categories, the Guns themselves, and your suit powers. Both solid methods and wickedly powerful when used in tandem. Starting with the guns, RAGE 2's selection of firearms is superb. While there's none returning from the first game, sans a preorder bonus, there's a good selection of familiar archetypes and new interesting weapons that are extremely fun to use. You have your basic Pistol and Assault Rifle that kinda do what you'd expect from other games, accurate and with decent stopping power. Then you get to more powerful weapons like a pretty solid shotgun with a slug alt fire and a smart rocket launcher. But RAGE 2's more notable guns are of course the more creative ones, like a Revolver that shoots explosive flares that you ignite manually via altfire or a chargeable railgun. My personal favorite being Grav dart gun that allows you to literally fling enemies around, off edges, into explosive barrels, into each other, after pricking them with enough darts. It's both extremely practical and equally as fun. You can also nab your hands on the iconic BFG-9000 if you splurged for the Deluxe Edition and it basically acts as a enemy deleter to the point you cannot find ammo for it naturally. As such it basically acts as a get out of jail card, but in the form of a big f#&%# gun. You also have the boomerang-like wingsticks making a return. Now being a Ranger you have your hands on a fancy suit and with the power of getting injections from various ARKs spread throughout the world you can get new powers to gradually make yourself more overpowered Each of these powers at your disposable act as a accessory to your guns, such as Dash being able to let you evade, or Slam providing a pretty satisfying ground pound attack. Therefore using everything in your arsenal to your advantage will allow you absolute dominate fights, even more so as nearly EVERYTHING from your weapons to your suit can be upgrade with Feltrite, a resource that you get from practically everywhere. Now as with the previous game, RAGE 2 also has vehicle gameplay and has been greatly expanded upon firstly with just the sheer amount of environment you're able to explore, along with having a hefty amount of vehicles to fight and collect. As mentioned, around the world are various locations that usually serve up some kind of combat challenge and/or provide a opportunity to harvest resources or unlock new gear. These are all conveniently connected one way or another by road so you're often encouraged to drive there yourself. To the point there's barely even fast travel of which being the settlement towns where you get resupply on ammo and upgrade specific aspects of your character with the cash you collect alongside feltrite. There's even combat on the road thanks to enemy convoys that really expand upon the vehicle combat from RAGE 1. As well as the returning Mutant Bash TV arena and Vehicle Racing. While out completing areas or crushing convoy you'll gain experience for one of three settlement leaders that further unlock yet another skill tree to make yourself even more powerful. In turn the game expects you to explore a lot to get rewarded a lot but this also causes the actual story missions to just feel more of the same in comparison. Style wise, Rage 2 looks pretty good on a technical level but on a art direction level I feel like there was something lost in translation. Rage's world is a post-apocalyptic Earth from a cataclysmic that happened in the future from our perspective so it's a mix of Mad Max-esque desert scrap settlements with sci-fi technology. While RAGE 2 does have a lot of good balance with some of the settlements and a few of the raider groups, especially the Goon Squad. Stuff like the Authority having a far bigger presence in the game's plot compared to the first and just the general idea of Rangers, who have these basically super hero suits kinda muddles the tone that was established in the first game. Where, yes there's people out there with significant technology, it's still kept to a fairly realistic bubble given the setting. Which is why it made the Authority way more threatening when they're introduced midway through RAGE 1 as they're a highly technology advanced faction, which when you're playing as basically "some guy" really amps up the stakes. Meanwhile in RAGE 2 it feels like good superfaction and bad superfaction, and then everyone else. It's also especially more difficult to take seriously given some of the writing choices. But to be honestly this game does a better job at being a fun videogame so the story being noticeably when before it was already kinda a "whatever story" is pretty forgivable here. Now for whatever reason, some genius at, probably Bethesda, thought it was a good idea to put a microtransaction currency into RAGE 2 in the form of RAGE 2 coins. Disregarding that this is a Singleplayer game, This would be just okay if it was just to purchase insignificant bonuses like weapon skins. But for some reason the content DLC is stuck to this system, and even if you got the deluxe edition, two of the three content DLCs still need to be purchased using this system. It's simply so bizarre that they weren't just separate DLCs on the store. it would save having to sacrifice your money into a currency system that you won't likely use after getting the content DLC if you were even interested in getting it. For the DLC themselves, in summary: Rise of the Ghosts gives you a new mini-area with a brand new environment to explore, with a new enemy faction, new suit power and a weapon, and a small story to enjoy. For being the only content DLC included in the Deluxe Edition it's easily the best one. Terrormania is a combat focused DLC featuring a remixed bizarre dimension world where you fight all the skeletons in the known universe, so if you like RAGE 2's combat and want more this is a easy sell. Lastly, the Cult of the Death God which was a Preorder bonus basically adds a new dungeon with just mutants but as a reward you do get the Armor and Pistol from RAGE 1 which is pretty neat. Overall, RAGE 2 might be a contender for the most open-world FPS of all time. It checks off all the boxes to make a open-world game and succeeds. But like with RAGE 1 it just kinda exists in a void of "good video game" and that's it, which compared to ID's other properties says something. (Oops word limit)
I am legit trying to figure out why people hate this game. It is just a big dumb open world FPS that is tons of fun to play. Nothing beats power slamming a group of dudes into the ground and then juggling them with a shotty when they bounce up towards the clouds. Or...just straight up force pushing them into a wall and watching them explode to the side of it guts and all. It reminds me of watching 80s action movies. Turn the brain off....and enjoy the carnage. Good stuff and more fun than the first one
Cons: The Menu for upgrades doesn't work, Dev issue never fixed. Tip: use the arrow keys on your keyboard. Short. Use a controller, to drive the vehichles. Mouse and KB, is worse than....anything I have ever seen on Keyboard. Becomes boring, very quickly. Instead of having more weapon options.....you have 3x the amount of vehicles.....which is kinda lame and has little purpose. Game is not open world, its Linear- open world with not much purpose. Game was incomplete. No expansions. Rushed out flop. Not optimized. You will have to tinker. Then it runs great. Its very PG, not rated R. Very few character enemy models. Quest and Tips from NPC's, are dumb. You dont turn them in. You just get tips. extremely poor tutorial, many years later. LOL- the defibulator......LOL. I was stuck in the trainer for 10 min. LOL. It works 50% of the time, everytime. Im at 23 hours, campaighn done. Probably only 16 hours to complete.....5 play sessions? Pros: Looks pretty, besides character models faces......which looked better, in Rage 1. Abilites are fairly neat- Love the Dash and slam. some areas can actually make you feel tense. Cheap.
P. S. If you have difficulties in the walktrough, this guide will be very useful: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3561496240
THINK FAR CRY NEW DAWN IS TERRIBLE? DON'T PLAY IT!
Judging by the first few minutes, RAGE 2 looks promising: revamped shooting, better physics, and a bright post-apocalyptic vibe. The cover with the screaming punk makes you think you’re in for something alive and energetic, kinda like Far Cry: New Dawn, but that feeling is misleading. The main issue is with the gameplay, not the visuals. The world feels like it’s lost its vibe: instead of a dark, dangerous apocalypse, you get a colorful mishmash of places (forest, swamp, and some random “alive” areas) that don’t really fit together. Mixing punks, government soldiers, and some explosive gameplay ends up feeling weird—neither fish nor fowl—the game loses its tone and meaning, and you just stop caring. The story is almost nonexistent. The main campaign drags on for a measly five hours, then it’s just the same grind over and over: boost the reputations of three leaders, clear outposts, destroy watchtowers. The whole narrative boils down to the starting mission, three leader missions after the grind, and the final one — the rest is just side tasks to kill time. Balance and progression are a whole other disaster. The level and enemy system gives no real sense of progress: in the same area, you might suddenly run into level 6–8 encounters when you’ve barely left the starting zone. Enemies can feel like tanks with twenty layers of armor even on medium difficulty — and they can take you down in a couple of shots. It ruins the fun of shooting, turning battles into maddening frustration. You don’t want to charge in, you just want to pick everyone off quietly from a corner. The 'Rage' system was supposed to add some kick, but instead it's either way too simplified or just poorly implemented. Many abilities are awkwardly mapped to controls — it feels clunky on keyboard, same with driving: vehicle handling is rough. Not like it was any better before. Loot and the game's economy are really simplified: smashing boxes and picking up 'parts' instead of a proper, understandable crafting and survival system. If the first Rage had some hardcore edge, here everything, despite seeming more accessible, can be insanely inconvenient: no proper fast travel points after clearing areas — and if you die during a mission, you have to trek dozens of kilometers back to the other end of the map all over again! Technically, the AI of hostile NPCs is weak and ridiculous. I'm not giving this game a trash rating just because of that nonsense. It's because it keeps crashing and freezing over the smallest things. RAGE 2 is a failed sequel to an already weird franchise, ruined by poor balance, repetitive gameplay, and a shallow story. If you're looking for a dynamic, atmospheric post-apocalypse with a deep world—skip it.
Verdict:
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3612049014 [i] P. S. 2x. Rage 2 was the surprise of 2026 for me. After playing the original, I vaguely remember they came out with this sequel, but after that, I totally forgot about it. It was in a sale of Id titles, so I picked it up for a few dollars thinking if it was lousy, I wouldn't be out that much money - and I would probably still enjoy parts of it, considering how much fun the original was. I absolutely was blown away by how great it was!! I don't understand what some of the commenters were complaining about - so it wasn't totally like the first Rage - so what?!? It was a crap-ton of FUN! (okay, I could've lived without the racing
but after the 1 required race, I was able to never race again!
The weapons were great, the characters and stories were interesting, and the gameplay was exciting! I loved all the exploring, and would definitely pay good money if they ever came out with a Rage 3 - hint hint... Anyway, I had no technical issues to speak of, and with the excellent gameplay, I'm definitely giving this a 10/10 - and a top recommendation to get it.
The story is pretty bland and forgettable, but the gameplay is solid and a lot of fun. Get it on sale!
