Bad day? All went wrong? Everybody sucks? Wanna get rid of your Frustration? Then welcome to RACE - TOTAL TOON RACE! First to the Hardcore Formula One Fans: This Game has NO realistic Physics, NO licensed Cars, NO licensed Drivers, NO realistic AI, this is PURE Arcade! You have been warned. ;-) Remembering the Good Old Times at home with my Cousin playing Games like PIT STOP 2, LOTUS ESPRIT CHALLENGE, SUPER CARS 2 and much more on C64 and AMIGA500. Two Player Fun at its best. And this is exactly what we have here. Pure Fun! Choose a Track, choose a Car and then just have Fun. Nothing more, nothing less. RACE - TOTAL TOON RACE is an simple but addicting Arcade Racer. Choose from Arcade, Championship and Time Trial and get started. The Tracks are really nice designed, love them. Your Car reacts typical Arcade. No real Physics. Making accidents will think you play FAST & FURIOUS, when your car learns to fly unintended, but hey this is a TOON Race. This is Fun. You can easily get back on Track and there is also a Button that puts you back in case of an Emergency, whatever it is. Ah yes, the Controls. Your Car is really easy to steer. No Gear Change just speeding. Going into curves works also very good with the Help of your Brakes. If you are lucky you will get safely over them, if you are unlucky you learn to fly. After collisions they don´t vanished, no they will remain where they fall to, so next Round have an eye on your Racetrack, maybe you have some unexpected obstacles on the Road. Oh by the Way, have an Eye on Shortcuts and use them. What i really, really like is the crazy Field of AI Racers. Mostly they really drive like they escaped from an Asylum or have drunk too much, but i like that. That makes them volatile and the Race diversified. You cant be really angry with them, because they drive that charming crazy. And if you drive splitscreen against a friend it doubles the Fun. I took a chance on this one and I thought it was gonna' suck. I was wrong. it's alright. More fun than the price.
