Played for 19 hours Messed up the pieces Friends got angry at me Got screamed at Didn't finish the puzzle Amazing game
asking for payment just to get more than 40 pieces off PER PUZZLE when they also use AI to generate images if you want a random play
Very chill game. Play alone or with friends. I do recommend this game for those that used to be able to do a puzzle but can't due to restrictions of some sort (space or age in my case).

Puzzle Together: Multiplayer Jigsaw Puzzles demonstrates that not every multiplayer title needs fast-paced action or competitive systems to be engaging. Developed and published by IronZog LLC, this relaxing puzzle experience takes a familiar household activity and transforms it into an inviting online platform designed around cooperation and creativity. Its central idea is straightforward: assemble jigsaw puzzles either by yourself or alongside other players. However, the game's appeal lies in how thoroughly it embraces that premise, offering an extensive collection of puzzles, robust multiplayer support, and a surprisingly polished set of tools that elevate the experience beyond a simple digital adaptation. The multiplayer component is unquestionably the game's defining feature. Completing a large jigsaw puzzle with friends feels natural, with players able to move pieces independently and contribute to a shared board without unnecessary complications. The cooperative design creates a welcoming atmosphere where conversation often becomes just as important as gameplay. Instead of demanding constant attention, Puzzle Together allows players to relax, chat, and gradually work toward a common goal. This makes it particularly suitable for families, couples, and groups of friends who want a casual activity to enjoy together across long distances. The addition of online functionality transforms what could have been a solitary pastime into an enjoyable social experience. Content variety is another area where the game excels. The Steam store description emphasizes a large and continually expanding catalog of puzzle images covering numerous themes and artistic styles. From scenic environments and animals to fantasy illustrations and abstract artwork, there is enough diversity to keep sessions feeling fresh. More importantly, the ability to create puzzles from personal images significantly extends the game's lifespan. Players can turn cherished memories into interactive challenges, adding a personal touch that many puzzle applications overlook. Combined with adjustable difficulty settings and varying piece counts, the game successfully accommodates both casual players looking for a quick session and dedicated puzzle enthusiasts seeking a lengthy challenge. Puzzle Together also benefits from numerous quality-of-life features that improve the traditional jigsaw formula. Sorting options, zoom controls, piece organization tools, and the ability to save progress remove many of the frustrations associated with physical puzzles. There is no concern about missing pieces or finding enough table space to accommodate larger projects. The interface remains intuitive throughout, allowing players to spend less time navigating menus and more time focusing on the puzzles themselves. These conveniences may not be groundbreaking individually, but collectively they demonstrate a thoughtful understanding of what players want from a digital puzzle platform. From a presentation standpoint, the game adopts a minimalist approach that serves its purpose well. The visuals are clean and functional, ensuring that the puzzle artwork remains the focal point. Ambient elements and straightforward menus contribute to the calm atmosphere, making it an ideal title for unwinding after a busy day. That said, players expecting progression systems, unlockable rewards, or deeper gameplay mechanics may find the experience repetitive over time. Puzzle Together remains firmly committed to its niche, and its success largely depends on whether players appreciate the meditative nature of assembling jigsaw puzzles. Ultimately, Puzzle Together: Multiplayer Jigsaw Puzzles succeeds because it understands exactly what it wants to be. It offers a comfortable, accessible, and highly social take on a timeless hobby while providing enough customization and content to justify repeated play sessions. It may not appeal to audiences seeking excitement or complexity, but for those looking for a peaceful cooperative experience, it delivers precisely what it promises. Rating: 8/10

cool puzzles
Overall for a free puzzle game, it's great! Multiplayer works and it is an extremely enjoyable experience. They nailed the controls and the interface as one of the best and most intuitive I've ever experienced. However, the online only access, limited selection, and the lottery style custom image generation really makes me pause from giving this the GOAT jigsaw puzzle game. Pros: I really like this game. I find the controls extremely intuitive and easy to use. It runs great on my older desktop computer on Linux Mint with Proton compatibility and I have no complaints about performance issues. I really like the QOL features added, like being able to quickly sort or spread a selection of pieces to remove some of the tedious busy work and really get down to the part I enjoy the most, clicking pieces together and solving the puzzle. I really like that the game focuses on the puzzle itself, and doesn't add anything extraneous (like a 3D virtual apartment). I like that I can't rotate the camera (only the pieces). All these things combined add up to an extremely enjoyable experience! Cons: A very small complaint is that I wish there was a way to disable the double click to reveal the image on the mat. It's nice to have the option, and being able to change the function to another key or control would be great. The free selection of puzzles are extremely limited, and to unlock other puzzles, you essentially pay per puzzle. Supposedly the free selection rotates periodically, but I haven't noticed how varied the selection is. The listings also show a selection of "pay to play" puzzles that you can try before you buy, but only up to 40 pieces. To me, this 40-piece preview is just really silly. But I guess it is better than nothing? There is no option to upload a custom image. The only way to generate a custom image is through an AI generative imaging tool, which costs money per USE. So if it generates an extremely disappointing image, you've got to pay another fee to try again or for the chance to fix it. This kind of equates to winning a lottery or opening a loot box. You pay for the CHANCE to get something good. However, my biggest complaint is that the game is online only at all times, even if playing single player. Occasionally the server goes down (perhaps for maintenance or for other various reasons) and you cannot access your in-progress puzzles, making the game effectively dead in the water until access to the servers are restored. It would be nice if there was an offline single player mode stored locally so that during these times you can at least continue to play the game solo. It really makes me worried that one day these online servers may go down permanently and then you have no access to the game whatsoever. Makes me reluctant to spend any money on a custom puzzle OR the AI image generation lottery.
