A safe puzzle game that is limited by the aged programming and aesthetics and is rather janky. Can be easily completed in a couple of hours. Still not worth the effort to be fair.

Puzzle Bots is a mediocre product with sincere effort behind it. It is short game centered around a mildly entertaining goofy narrative and features easy puzzles. Might be a mindblowing game if you are trying to introduce a young child to the puzzle / adventure genre. I believe I acquired this as an extra in a Humble Bundle which is about the right value for this game from my perspective as an adult. For cheap it is decent entertainment as a filler game for a bundle. A far superior game to filler trash you could otherwise receive.

I started the game expecting a yesteryear game's mechanics and story. And it didn't disappoint. The resolution was stuck at a low level and the graphics are what you expect out of casual games. But what sets it apart are the puzzles - they start out simple and progressively get harder. The game can be completed very quickly and thankfully stops at good point. The graphics and animations are not anything to write about but they serve the story well and are just enough for the game setting. Overall, a good time pass on a lazy day. - 7/10

Игра не то, что плохая, просто она очень уж детская. Всё – и рисовка, и сюжет, и загадки, всё какое-то детсадовское. Если у вас есть свой ребёнок, или если вы по каким-то причинам хотите заманить к себе чужого ребёнка, то эта игра вам подойдёт.

This game kinda remind me of some the old flash games, and in this case it's a good thing. I mean, I really love how simple and yet fun this game is, I like the art and the humour. Sure, it might be more like a game for kids, but that doesn't mean you can't have fun playing it.

I bought this game through humble bundle a while back and never gave it a try. I was categorizing my games on Steam when I ran across it again. I almost dismissed it again, but I thought I'd play it for five minutes so I knew where to put it. Well, I ended up beating the game over a course of two days, and I've got to say, it was a lot of fun! Here's a couple points I enjoyed: * There was a dual narrative happening the entire game and the cutscenes felt like rewards for figuring out the puzzle. * The art and music initially didn't appeal to me, but as I played I grew to love it. * The characters were consistant and interesting to me. * The game didn't take itself too seriously, and there were laughs throughout the game. * It was very reminiscent of DOS point and click games way back when, I could easily see this having been a DOS game. Really, the only small point I felt needed improving was the mouths syncing up with the character's speech, and I did hear a small crackle twice when a character was being loud. These are barely noticable during gameplay though. Also, switching between bots using the 1 through 5 keys on the keyboard would be a great change. All in all, I didn't expect to like Puzzle Bots, but I really enjoyed it! I would pay $5 for this game knowing what I know now. It's a short, punchy, self-contained story with interesting characters and good humor, and I'll be keeping my eye out for other games from these devs.
