while i really want to like the game the puzzle game really throws it off for me. not are only are you stacked against like lot's of skulls, lack of points for anything even their favorite, the combos are bad, time limit as well as losing more moves as you move around to get a move. if you're bad at the game sure you can keep retrying to lower the score but there are 5 pictures per girl. how many times do you really wanna do that?
Purino Party is a genre-blending title developed by Frontwing and published internationally by Frontwing USA that combines match-three puzzle gameplay with light visual-novel dating-sim elements. From the outset, the game makes its intentions clear: it aims to offer a relaxed, anime-styled experience where puzzle completion directly feeds into character interactions, artwork unlocks, and short story scenes. Rather than presenting a deep overarching narrative, the game structures itself around selecting one of several girls, completing puzzle stages, and then enjoying small slices of dialogue and visual rewards tied to that character’s route. The puzzle gameplay itself is simple and immediately understandable, relying on timed match-three mechanics where players freely swap pieces to create combos and score points. There is little in the way of complex systems or layered strategy, which makes the game approachable for casual players but also limits its long-term depth. Much of the success in each round comes from quick pattern recognition and making the most of cascading matches, though this can sometimes feel more luck-driven than skill-driven. Difficulty options help smooth out frustration, allowing players to focus on progression rather than mastery, but those looking for a truly challenging or mechanically rich puzzle game may find the experience repetitive over time. Where Purino Party places more emphasis is on its character-driven presentation. Each girl embodies familiar anime archetypes, and interactions tend to be short, playful, and focused on light romantic tension rather than deep emotional storytelling. The visual novel segments function more as rewards than as a narrative backbone, offering brief conversations and situational humor rather than meaningful character development. For fans of anime-styled dating sims, this approach can be charming in its simplicity, while players expecting layered writing or branching storylines may find the dialogue shallow and overly reliant on clichés. Visually, the game leans fully into colorful, polished anime artwork, with expressive character designs and unlockable illustrations that serve as a primary motivator for continued play. Voice acting and sound design add personality to the cast, even if the overall production values remain modest. The game also includes clearly labeled mature content, with suggestive imagery and themes that cater to a specific audience. This aspect is handled more as fan-service than narrative necessity, and its appeal will largely depend on the player’s tolerance or enthusiasm for that style of content. Ultimately, Purino Party is a niche experience that succeeds more as a casual, low-commitment diversion than as a standout hybrid of its genres. Its charm lies in its straightforward structure, accessible mechanics, and lighthearted presentation, while its weaknesses stem from shallow puzzle design and limited narrative ambition. For players seeking a relaxed match-three game with anime flair and mild dating-sim elements, it can be an enjoyable time in short bursts. For those hoping for deep gameplay systems or memorable storytelling, it may feel more like a novelty than a lasting experience, but one that clearly understands and caters to its intended audience. Disappointing it's hard to puzzle heart level 3 to 5 mean low click move less and high points more. that's bad idea :(
this is the greatest VN I've ever played in my whole life!
BGMがうるさいイメージつよつよです パズルゲーはまぁまぁ楽しんで、クリア報酬を見て、楽しむ。。。 セールのとき買うのが◎
It's exactly what you would expect from this genre, especially for free. It's either your thing or it's not.
