About
Japan, in the year 20XX... The evil secret society Jakou is plaguing the country, causing several private defense firms to be founded. These companies protect Japan alongside the police and self-defense forces.
With both Jakou and the protectors of peace using newly-developed mechs to fight, the battlefield has begun to change, with damage to cities and infrastructure reaching unimaginable levels!
And yet, despite Jakou's power, the citizens of Japan are fighting back. Haruka, the hero of our story, witnessed the destruction of her hometown several years ago, and she's determined to take revenge! Thus, she joins the public defense corp Toyokumo, aiming to pilot their freshly-designed machines to take down Jakou for good!
Pilot the cutting-edge Takefutsu to take down the agents of Jakou! Use the variety of weapons at your disposal to deal with threats as efficiently as possible while keeping damage to the city to a minimum. Of course, you may occasionally have to topple a few buildings to reach your objective, but all's fair in the name of justice!
Although Takefutsu is a cutting-edge mech, it can still be upgraded. Gather parts from defeated enemies and use them between missions to increase Takefutsu's capabilities, granting it perks such as increased armor or new special attacks.
Naturally, running a civil justice corporation and maintaining a huge mech doesn't come cheap. You'll also have to take part in publicity events around the city to gather support for the company and appease any citizens whose homes might have been damaged in the crossfire. Participate in television adverts and gather sponsors to raise funds!

Futuristic Adventure
Pilot a mech to defeat the evil agents of Jakou in urban warfare, even taking down buildings that are blocking your path if needed!
Upgrade the Takefutsu
Gather parts from defeated enemies to make your mech stronger and craft items that will help you in your mission to protect the peace!
1、战斗关卡有24关, 难度循序渐进 基本不需要去刷等级,这一点体验就很不错; 2、 CG重复度尚可,搭配剧情个人觉得体验不算很差 ,唯一不足就是四个反派每人只有一个事件,略显敷衍; 3、剧情最后只有GE和BE两个区分度不大的结局,整个游玩过程比较线性(作战-触发事件-作战-触发事件......),其次就是主角前后的转变很理所当然,没有记忆点(身体的抗拒、内心激烈的挣扎等),从始至终堕落感不强,玩到最后感想仅仅是靠PLAY支撑, 比较无聊 ; 4、一周目通关后(GE/BE),可解锁全回想事件;
At first glance it looks like a corruption game. But actually, it is in fact, a ENF focused corruption game. If you enjoy ENF, I cannot reccomend this game to you enough. Also patch is on the Kagura Games website for free.
Public Defense Corp, developed by Clymenia and published by Kagura Games, is a sci-fi RPG that combines mech-based combat with light management systems and a character-driven narrative. Set in a futuristic Japan threatened by a mysterious hostile force, the story follows Haruka, a young woman whose life is shaped by tragedy after an attack destroys her hometown. Seeking both purpose and revenge, she joins a private defense organization tasked with protecting civilians and pushing back against the enemy threat. The premise is familiar but effective, providing a clear emotional anchor that drives the game forward even when the storytelling itself doesn’t fully explore its potential. The gameplay is structured around mission-based progression, where players pilot a customizable mech into combat scenarios that emphasize both efficiency and control. Battles follow a traditional RPG format, but with a slight twist: players are encouraged to minimize collateral damage while eliminating enemies, reinforcing the idea that they are operating within populated environments rather than isolated battlefields. This adds a layer of responsibility to each encounter, though it doesn’t drastically alter how combat plays out. The core mechanics remain grounded in standard RPGMaker conventions, with straightforward attack options, abilities, and stat-based progression. While not particularly innovative, the system is reliable and offers a steady sense of growth as players upgrade their mech with parts collected from defeated enemies. Customization is one of the stronger aspects of the game, as the ability to enhance and modify the mech provides a tangible sense of progression. Players can fine-tune their loadout to suit different combat situations, which adds some flexibility to an otherwise linear structure. However, this system doesn’t reach the level of depth seen in more complex RPGs, and experimentation is somewhat limited by the game’s relatively simple mechanics. Still, it succeeds in giving players a reason to engage with the upgrade loop and invest in their performance across missions. Beyond combat, Public Defense Corp introduces light management and social systems that attempt to broaden the experience. Running a defense company involves maintaining public trust, securing funding, and participating in promotional activities such as interviews or events. These segments break up the action and add a layer of immersion, giving players a sense of being part of a larger organization rather than just controlling a single character. While these features are conceptually interesting, they remain fairly shallow in execution and don’t significantly impact the overall gameplay beyond minor stat adjustments or narrative flavor. The presentation reflects the game’s RPGMaker roots, with anime-style character art that brings personality to the cast while environments remain relatively simple and functional. The mech designs are more visually striking and help distinguish combat sequences from exploration segments, giving the game a clearer identity during its most active moments. Sound design is serviceable, supporting the experience without standing out, and the overall aesthetic remains consistent even if it lacks technical polish or variety. Narratively, the game delivers a straightforward story focused on Haruka’s growth and her place within the organization. While the premise carries emotional weight, the pacing often moves too quickly to fully develop its characters or themes. Supporting cast members and antagonists are introduced with interesting ideas but are not explored in depth, which can make the story feel somewhat surface-level. The game maintains a consistent tone throughout, but it rarely reaches moments of genuine impact or complexity. As with many titles published by Kagura Games, the inclusion of mature content is a defining feature. This aspect is woven into both the narrative and progression systems, and while it may appeal to the publisher’s established audience, it can feel at odds with the more serious elements of the story. For some players, it adds variety and incentive; for others, it may detract from the overall cohesion of the experience. Despite its limitations, Public Defense Corp manages to deliver a cohesive and moderately engaging RPG experience. Its combination of mech combat, light management mechanics, and character-focused storytelling gives it a distinct identity within its niche, even if none of these elements are particularly deep on their own. The game is best approached with tempered expectations, as it offers a solid but relatively simple experience that prioritizes accessibility over complexity. Rating: 7/10
GOOD!!!!!
