Prompt is a hardcore platformer. It is minimalist, it is retro, and it is very, very hard. Everything from the visual style to the design of every level has been coded with love, just for you.

It starts of fun and gets into some extremely atrocious level design. Completing the hardest levels/collectibles doesn't feel satisfying. The frustration from what seems to be several frame perfect inputs as the intended way to solve levels outshines the fun that the game does have in it. It's not terrible, but not good enough to recommend it and it definitely needed some reworking to make it fully enjoyable.
Minimalistic platformer with simple controls. Visuals are simple but stylish, the soundtrack is simply amazing. Difficulty gets pretty brutal but nothing impossible.
Completed the game in one and a half hour, without gathering all the keys, so it's a very short game. I also didn't try the level editor yet but I'm sure I'm going to. At first the game seems a bit easy, but the difficulty ramps up pretty fast at the last two "worlds". It's a very neat experience. At first I thought it takes inspiration from SMB, but after playing I've noticed it's more like I Wanna Be The Guy, you really have to be pixel perfect if you want to complete the hardest levels. I also like the retro aesthethic, watching the game through old glitchy screen, every effect can be turned off though if it's something that bothers you. Music is A+ to me personally, someone else in the reviews mentioned they found the music annoying though, so keep that in mind. If you're in need of a short, a little bit of salt-inducing experience, I recommend getting this game.

Jogo lindo demais, gráficos lindissimos (não realistas mas LINDOS), amei principalmente a forma unica de como é a resolução, curva, com ''falhas estáticas'' linhas, e tudo que faz parecer uma tv antiga. Dificil na dose certa
it's exactly what it says in the description, very hard, but not the rewarding kind of hard, it's just a "you beat the level, now move on to the next one" kind of hard. instead of writing the rest of this review, i'll just read out what my experience of most levels was: there is a platform in front of you, you jump. now there is another platform but with some spikes, you jump and you fall directly into the spikes.
respawn
there is a platform in front of you, you jump. platform but with some spikes, you jump and you fall into the spikes.
respawn
platform, you jump. spike platform, you jump and fall.
respawn
platform, you jump. spike platform, you jump. you made the landing this time, there is another platform with the exit on it! finally! you jump... and fall into the void!
respawn
first platform, you jump. you fall.
respawn
first platform again, jump and fall. somehow you completely forgot how to jump to the first platform, cool!
a few respawns later
spike platform, stuck the landing. jump to the end platform, there's no possible way you couldn't make this jump, right? turns out you weren't holding sprint, so now you fall!
Игра очень простая в управлении, но также ОЧЕНЬ СЛОЖНАЯ ДЛЯ ИГРЫ. за этот час я успел испытать всё боль неудач 10 разбитых клавиатур из 10
Quick Verdict
👎 A minimalist retro platformer with an interesting presentation, but difficulty levels so extreme that it quickly becomes frustrating rather than enjoyable.
Score Breakdown

🎮 Gameplay — 2.5/5
Simple platforming mechanics, but the extreme precision required on many levels makes progression feel frustrating instead of rewarding.
🎨 Visuals — 3.5/5
Minimalist retro presentation and fake CRT aesthetic work well and give the game a distinct identity.
🔊 Audio — 2.5/5
Functional and fitting, but nothing particularly memorable.
⚙️ Technical Performance — 5/5
Very light and runs perfectly smoothly.
Game Profile

⏱️ Length
Deceptively very long, not because of the amount of content, but because some levels require countless attempts to complete
🎯 Difficulty
Very hard, often requiring near pixel-perfect precision
🔁 Replayability
Low, aside from achievement hunting
Highlights & Drawbacks

✅ What Works
* Distinct minimalist CRT presentation * Simple and easy-to-understand mechanics * Extremely smooth technical performance
❌ What Doesn’t
* Difficulty often feels excessive * Some levels require frustrating precision * Repeated failures become tiring quickly * Limited replay value once completed
Final Thoughts
Prompt has an interesting visual concept and solid technical execution, but its extreme difficulty makes it hard to truly enjoy. Players specifically looking for punishing precision platformers may appreciate it more, but for most people it will likely feel more frustrating than fun.
Great little challenging game. Movement is really nice and the sound track is great! Suggested for the skilled platformer.
Сложно даже в обучении.
Short, simple, and very fun. Lots of speedrun potential.
