Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.14/day in the week to Aug 26 → 4/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
From what I've read, the game had a rough start, which explains why a lot of the reviews from that era look the way they do. I was a big fan of Project Car games (1, 2), and after putting several hours into this one, I have to say it runs great, the interface is also really good, especially compared to some other games in the genre. My biggest surprise was how well it plays on a controller. There's no noticeable delay or awkward jankiness on turns like I remember from PC or even in Automobilista games. If you're looking for a motorsport/GT/LM racing game that feels good on a controller, this one definitely hits the spot. I can see why the game is popular on Consoles and why so many people recommend it to console players. Thoe the game pushes things a bit more towards the sim side of racing compared to Gran Turismo and Forza Motorsport, while still remaining accessible. Good selection of tracks, nice sound, car feeling. Thoe a lot of the cars are behind paywall which would be my biggest gripe.

I really wanted to give this game a chance considering all or the negativity, but it just doesn't work. I've put 5 hours into trying to get my wheel, pedals and shifters to work and had to write my own custom files to get the game to recognise them. Every other sim recognises them all. Triple screen support just doesn't work. My game wont even launch now once I had configured the graphics settings properly. I'm giving up and have uninstalled. This game should have never been released in this state, which is a shame as I really enjoyed the project cars titles. Maybe its good if you have a single screen setup and a one make wheel and pedals, but with a full triple screen setup with decent sim hardware I just cannot recommend it.
I'm newbie to Sim Racing. I tried play this game and I find this game quiet interesting. Just got my online racing license for the ranked multiplayer race and I find the penalties system sometimes hit and miss. Updated: As I wrote my review, the game crashed more and more on my PC recently with Mid to High Setting.
I was a bit dubious about buying this game with all the negative feedback and that I use a controller but thought I would hut it and try it and if it was no good I would refund before 2 hours are up. I've played for 2 hours now and I am keeping it. With controller I tried it at default and it wasn't that bad but tweaked it slightly to the settings of https://simracingsetup.com/project-motor-racing/project-motor-racing-controller-settings/ I am now loving it
stutters more than a ldv convoy van cold starting in winter
I played a few different Simracing titles by now. LMU, ACE, ACC, AC, even BeamNG which I wouldn't call a Simracing game, but more of an overall Physic simulator. I've been playing on an R9 V3 Base with the KS wheel and SRP Load cells. Anyway, PMR was by far the worst one of all. All of the above mentioned games sound better, have better and more consistent feedback from the car, FFB that doesn't try to break your wrists on a straightaway... the grip and handling just feels off. Like you only have 3 states of grip with no real dynamic between them, just static threshholds. The car is first way to sensitive, and then there's no response at all, maybe just a bit but that's it. Maybe it's this game's version of understeer? If that's the case then it's probably the worst way of simulating understeer that I've ever got to feel. Idk so far I'm just absolutely not a fan of the game. I had my doubts from the beginning because of the Giants engine, and they definitely were right. There's just too much that screams "farming sim engine" Optimization is also pretty bad. Around 40FPS on a UWQHD while the game barely looked better than Beamng. The ONLY thing that I thought was alright was the AI. This game shouldn't have been released as a full priced finished game. It's is worse than the ACE 0.1 Early access, yet PMR costs double and is meant to be full release. I'm really glad I didn't buy it. And after the free weekend, I doubt I'll ever buy it.
In Project Moror Racing (PMR) fehlt dies komplett. 3. Grafik. Ja keine Ahnung was ich dazu sagen soll.
So my fear was correct giants game engine jank that you see in farming simulator can be created here. now im not talking about unoptimized bales and pallets that rub together cause lag and sometimes try to reach lower orbit if you touch them the wrong way, im talking about vehicles sliding i was doing the first ranked license test with the mx5 and noticed while in neutral reving the engine the car slowly slides sideways. This is a more noticeable issue in farming sim as you can park a implement and go do field work come back an hour later and the other implement is now on the other side of your yard still just vibrating and sliding on its own. normally its a issue with mods and not base game assets hopefully that is fixed at some point as for now im glad its a free weekend deal...... ive only tested the mx5 on lime rock for this issue maybe its the track maybe its the car i have not done enough testing to know which it is for sure personally
I bought it in February 2026, but I refunded it because the FPS was very low, even in the menu. In-game, it was almost unplayable. My setup is an RTX 3060 with an i7 11th Gen at 1080p. After the 2.0 update, I bought it again. Everything has improved — now it’s playable at around 70–80 FPS. The FPS only drops when choosing a different car, as it loads the car preview, but it quickly returns to around 60 FPS. Overall, the game is good. Compared to Rennsport, it is much better, although there is still room for improvement.
