Good game, needs more but still fun

bad. too many bugs, cant even update roster, not as action packed as you'd like it to be there is a minute or two of down time with "quick sim".

It gives a very good representation of playing football and playing as a QB

Love this game. Only problem I have with it is there are so many glitchs but if you dont mind those then this game is really good for the casual players if you want a more competitive game go buy NFL Pro Era ll.

PRO ERA is a great game for those who love playing games with a high level of strategy and skill.

Really buggy booooooo

Ich bin heute zufällig über dieses schon leicht angestaubte Game gestolpert. Ich hab die gemischten Rezensionen gelesen, aber mir gedacht (da ich sehr gerne Football am PC spiele und im TV schaue), ausprobieren schadet nicht. Dann hätten mich die Bugs gleich am Anfang fast wieder verscheucht (Index Controller haben irgendwie nicht funktioniert - konnte damit keinen Ball snappen; daher dann die alten Wands geholt). Zwischendrin ist auch mal die VR Brille ausgegangen (passiert manchmal, weiß nicht ob spieleabhängig oder lastbedingt). Schließlich hab ich dann doch trainieren können. Das war schon: Oh, ist ja interessant. Und dann - die ersten beiden Saisonspiele im Heimstadion (LA Rams, SoFi Stadium). WOW. Die Atmosphäre war überwältigend! Ich hatte das Glück vor einem Jahr in dem Stadion ein Spiel live anschauen zu können (ganz oben, auf den "billigen" Plätzen). Und hab nun vom Spielfeld genau da hin schauen können. Und die Atmosphäre im Stadion war 1a eingefangen. Die Durchsagen, das Jubeln. Und dann auf dem Feld auch noch Pässe angebracht. Auch mal ne Interception. Das Spiel ist etwas passlastig (in echt wird durchaus mehr gelaufen), aber wurscht. Es hat mir so richtig Spaß gemacht. Angeblich kommt in 3d der Nachfolger raus. Mal schauen, ob ich mir den dann irgendwann auch hole. Bis jetzt hat mich aber das Spiel komplett geflasht (Grinsen ging kaum raus aus dem Gesicht). Ich freue mich schon auf die Saison. Jetzt brauch ich erstmal ne Pause.

I am cautiously recommending this game, as it is a truly fun and immersive football game that puts you right into the game as an NFL QB, the heart pumping adrenaline of having a tough 3rd down to commit with the roar of the crowd screaming in your ears is incredibly thrilling and enjoyable. However; the myriad of bugs I've encountered in this game is almost comical to a degree, the worst of which being during a punt there was a two minute warning that paused the punt, only to have the punt not actually be paused and have an infinite loop of players running around the center indefinitely, nothing happening, until I had to reset the game entirely. Those moments really take you out of the game, also as a smaller gripe, the players turning to run up-field takes like twenty actual minutes as the player stops... and then proceeds to go up field. It's really annoying when you're trying to throw a quick curl route over the first down only for the player to run forward away from the first, stop, then get immediately tackled as they try to go forward costing you the first down. Overall, the moment to moment action is still very impressive and fun for the NFL's first licensed VR game. Ironing out the bugs and adding more features (potentially a WR mode where you can catch balls?) would improve this game tenfold but for their first attempt, it was pretty alright.
