While I appreciated that this game stands out, overall it is quite tedious and repetitive. For most the game, I felt like my hand was being held. But then there were parts where I got stuck, and for stupid reasons, like not realising that if I clicked the right side of the screen, another room would unlock. There's a hint button, but it is useless at times (like it tells me there is something special about this book, obviously, but what am I supposed to do next?). The map helps with progression, but the hint button will just show you the same puzzle that you are not able to solve, rather than leading you in the right direction. There were parts that were enjoyable, but overall I found myself getting bored quickly

Decent game. I like that there are more puzzles beyond just the hidden object stuff and you have the ability to use hints if you really need. the navigation to find new rooms was harder than expected though and hints did not work for that. I started this on 2 separate ocassions when I had free trials of the game with a new laptop like 10+ years ago but never got to finish till now. I will say I found the ending a bit underwhelming, but overall this was a nice distraction for a couple hours for a low price point
