A pretty ok sequel, even though its mostly like the first part in most ways. The cristal puzzles are pretty annoying. The endgame is the same as in the first game. The "new" features are ok too. All in one is the game ok. Its recommandable
They certainly know their target audience; You play as a princess, the main quest is to rescue your baby, & many of the puzzles involve cleaning & tidying. XD A lot of the art in this game is pretty mid, but there are enough point & click style elements that I will probably come back to it at some point. Not at atmospheric as other games in the genre but I didn't hate it. No woke nonsense detected.
story wise. bad. but the hidden object sections were very fun and challenging in some spots! i dislike the mechanics of the map more in this one, as it’s a bit harder to read and isn’t as clear as the first game. i also dislike the characterization of some of the recurring characters (mostly prince adam).some point knocked off because the ending literally was so strange 😭 you have to backtrack and moving to and from different sections a lot. the voice acting is funny but i like it (sooo many different accents). also introduces a whole bunch more magical creatures into the world, including dragons!!!!! which i love. i enjoy that there is a “hard” mode (although i didn’t play normal) for people who’ve played the first game or are looking for a challenge (which, tbh still wasn’t that difficult this game was made for like… children or like preteens). art style is worse imo, especially with the human?? characters. prince adam looks COMPLETELY different. i do like the art for the creatures tho, very cute. some of the puzzles do get a bit repetitive (there’s one style you do like… 5 times very close together) overall not the worst, but i definitely prefer the first game tbh
Pretty nice second part, the Prince is nightmare inducing though !
prima candy voor tussendoor. niet te ingewikkeld. fum
Mildly recommended. This is the second in the series and is definitely an improvement. The graphics are more appealing and it expands a bit on the gameplay concepts from the first in a good way. The story is nothing special, but moves you along as needed. Shorter than advertised, I got about 3hrs of game time, not sure where the 6+ comes from in the description. All in all, a decent game if you enjoy Hidden Object games, but far from the top tier in the genre.
The end was far too abrupt. I am uncertain that I even won. The battle was over, a cinematic that explained nothing other than a baby being rescued by a dragon played, and then the credits rolled. I have no idea what happened. The hidden objects aspect of the game were standard. The game seemed convoluted. Somewhat enjoyable, but not nearly as much so as the first game.
A very original HOG series. See my longer review of the 3rd game. All of the games in this series have the same unique characteristics. Very unique soundtrack as well and I really liked it.
HOG from 2011 its the second game of princess isabella series this time witch is back for princess isabella child (her daughter) and the kingdom so what you gonna do about it? this one missing some bonus chapter .. just saying.
i love love love this game. i cant even say anything bad about it because it was such a staple of my childhood (the first one too). after many many years of playing this with the free trials from literally any site possible me and my sister finally found this for cheap and bought it! we have probably been playing the free trials on any computer we could get our hands on for at least 10 yrs (we were running out of computers and sites w free trials haha) we basically know most of it by heart. we played the advanced version and even then it took us 68 minutes to complete it while free trials are 60 minutes! speed runners have got nothing on us
