Where do I begin with this game. As a huge fan of PowerWash Simulator 1, obviously I had to get the second installation of the game. However, the game was not up to par with the first one, and on top of that there's not many new additions to the game. First off, two main issues with the gameplay that are broken. - Once you get a text message, there's no way to read it if you miss it. Unlike the first game, you can actually open old messages given to the player and read the PLOT. In this game, it seems like the developers couldn't care less about the plot. "Who cares about a power washing story right?" I would imagine is what they thought, because there's no way to read any of it once it's gone. - The whole point of washing the entire map is to see the fruit of your labor! Meaning, to see the timelapse at the end of the level. However, in this game when the map is completed the timelapse shuts down right after (Unlike in the first game, where you closed it with a button). You can't see the finished level for more than a split second! I actually emailed support for this issue, and it should have been a quick fix. However, after they replied I'm sure they promptly threw it in the trash because there was no update ever after. Why even have a feature request ticket system, if you are just going to ignore your biggest warriors. - The level pacing is all over the place. Sometimes you get a lucky break with a small level in-between, but more often than not you get these massive complicated levels that take many hours to finish! On the first game, you often got multiple choices in case you felt like doing a small or big map, but in this one you have very little choice. You will often find yourself doing multiple 4 hour long maps one after the other. And these maps are so complex with shapes that are difficult to clean and not very satisfying. - There's absolutely nothing new about this game that would require a second installation. You get one new tool called the Swirlforce, and it quickly became my favorite I must admit! However, there's absolutely nothing else in the gameplay that would change dramatically from the first one. Maybe there's 2 new nozzles that we didn't have before, that weird platform that goes up and down and throws you off, or the useless furniture and skins, nothing else is new. - There's also nothing new pushing the franchise forward. No new powerups, or concepts, or upgrades, or fun features or anything! I don't care what it could be, it could be a weed wacker to do grass and plant trimming, a shovel to remove heavy mud from sidewalks, or even the cats licking the floor or an airstrike of water and soap, that would have been new! But nope, this game just stagnates on the same old PowerWash as the first one, except it felt like the original team that had the original passion, didn't work on it. Just be creative dude! Maybe add a zombies mode like in CoD? Where you clean zombies to turn them into humans, or protect a house from mud beings, I don't know, you guys can hire me as a consultant for ideas if you want. But this ain't cutting it for a second game. Really hoping you get creative on the third one, or someone else is going to eat your lunch. - Speaking of consultants, I can sniff out a little bit of DEI in this game. Unlike the first game, we didn't have pets, in this one we get a bunch of cats. Ok, cool, whatever? Not even a choice between pets, OK. You could have had a whole buying system to get your own pet and different colors, anyways. But why can't you spray them with water? I can only imagine is to get an E rating for everyone. But why even add them in the first place? You can spray everything but the animals, including other players. It's not a real gun, it's not a real pet, it's not going to hurt them. It just comes across as power tripping what you can and can't do in the comfort of your home when no one is looking at what you do in a video game. Out of frustration I went ahead and sprayed my pets with water. Anyways, after finishing the campaign I cannot recommend this game. If you really want it, buy it during a sale or through a cheaper platform. I will go back to play PowerWash Simulator 1.
Clean Shizz 2: Hydro Boogaloo is still a great time for relaxing or shooting the shizz with your friends.
I have played way too many hours of the original PWS and often go back and replay levels, with or without friends. I've also purchased multiple DLCs for the original, with no regrets. I was SUPER excited about a sequel, thinking it would be more of the same. I have tried to play PWS2 multiple times and each time I just quit. It's not as satisfying, all the gimicks get annoying after awhile. I just want to power wash. They changed the particle dynamics or something too, so it doesn't wash off in the same satisfying way. I'm uninstalling this and just playing the original.

All I want to do is play the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game. I don't want a damn tutorial for every. little. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. thing. I don't give a ♥♥♥♥ about the office furniture. I don't need to be ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ told how to move through the damn nozzles or what ones to even use. I just want to play the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game.
