There is no job involving cleaning Padme's boots with my face 0/10
So far I liked all DLCs from PWS 1 and PWS 2 but I can't recommend this one. I like Star Wars but this is just uninspired fan service. It's the same dirt all over, so no need to adjust the washers.
Cleaning AT-AT and Millenium Falcon is just a pain in the ***. Basically your changing both from black to grey. The falcon takes hours without any feeling of satisfying progress.
If you're still intrigued, wait for a sale.
no cantina band in cantina level 0/10
Can't say I was a huge fan of this pack. The Scene maps were fine, but the vehicle levels; especially the AT-AT and the Millennium Falcon were not particularly relaxing or fun. The vehicles are unnecessarily hyper detailed which means having to do a 360 around every single bump out. Also, choosing the Millennium Falcon as one of the six maps, and making it the EXTERIOR instead of the INTERIOR is what creates serial killers.
brought more joy and wonder than jj abrams could ever hope to do
Excellent DLC. Probably the best Powerwash DLC in my opinion, equal to Shrek, Wallace & Gromit and Alice in Wonderland from the first game. 6 jobs, all lengthy enough to be worth your time but not too fiddly. The AT-AT's legs and underside are a little tricky and a few areas of the Millenium Falcon need some patience but that's about all. Runs well, looks great, tons of detail and easter eggs, really captures the Star Wars feel. If you enjoyed the base game and want more, this is a fantastic purchase. Highly recommended.
Another solid DLC. Large maps and some amazing detail to clean. The Falcon alone must have taken forever for them to get that level of detail done. They've mastered the art of the satisfying dlc. Totally worth it. The achievements are a bit different than previous DLCs. First off there's no "Clean x First/Last" which is a huge bonus imo, those were always a pain to get if you screwed up. There's also not a bonus achievement for each level this time but the ones that are there are fun to figure out. As a bonus the text messages are great. You'll follow along the original trilogy from cleaning Uncle Ownen's farmstead to getting kidnapped by the empire to rescued/sold to the rebels. Nice touch for the Star Wars fan.
Managed to play through all the maps. It’s a decent bit bigger than the Adventure Time Pack whether that’s the reason for the increased price or licensing fees being possibly more expensive for the ip. It’s worth the $10.
The levels are beautifully designed and very detailed. But the details are often detrimental rather than adding to the experience. The verticality of the AT-AT is entirely frustrating rather than fun. All the surfaces you're cleaning are completely devoid of color and just different shades of grey and brown. One of the most satisfying parts of PWS is turning a dirt-covered area into something bright, sparkling, and colorful. You will get none of that here. A dark brown cantina turns into a slightly less dark brown cantina. Everything else turns from dark grey into slightly less dark grey. There are plenty of colorful sites to choose from in the Star Wars universe, so the choices here are completely baffling to me. The free levels are, as always, consistently much better and more fun than anything they've released as DLC, which consistently misses the mark. It's a shame.
Overall, the DLC is okay. There are lots of BIG things to wash, an interesting theme, and plenty of well-known locations. That said, I’m a little disappointed by the lack of interactive elements and secrets, to be honest
