The Power Link game reforms the traditional wire loop game in a rather creative way. This game requires you to pick up and guide the metal piece from top to the end of maze without it touching. In virtual world, we can design mazes unlimitedly which makes the game more interesting and exciting.
Revenue comes from in-game items and microtransactions, which our price-based model doesn't estimate. Copies below reflect the player base, not paid sales.

Great idea for a VR game, like operation essentially. Huge problem is that it sets the play field AT the edge of the play area, so it wants me to jab my wall with the controller. Needs to be adjusted to be playable.

Also alles gut, Empfehlung meinerseits.

Eines der besten VR Spiele.
I didn't like Power Link, but someone who likes feats of dexterity probably will. The premise is simple, move a pair of oddly shaped pliers carrying a box through a maze of electrified wires. It's a bit akin to Operation! the kid's game, only Power Link is a lot harder and ramps up the difficulty fairly quickly.

"Power Link VR" is a garbage quality, pointless VR tech demo. You know the "wire loop" puzzle/game where you have a metal hoop and you pass it along a "course" made by a wire, but can't touch the wire with your hoop? It's often used as a basic dexterity test in clinical trials for stuff (Mythbusters used one to test alcholic inebriation once). Well, that's all this is, but in crappy VR. The technical execution of this game is shallow and simplistic, just enough to tick the boxes required to get something (anything) published on Steam, rather than investing the huge amount of effort and budget needed to create a fully fledged, comprehensive, high quality product. This feels like a tech demo more than a full game. The graphics aren't great, simple low poly assets of deplorably low quality. That's understandably a turn off for a lot of gamers, and it's a big contributor to the failure of the game to attract gamers despite having no up-front cost. Gaming is a primarily visual medium, and if developers want to succeed, they must understand that it's not an area for compromise. You deserve better than compromises. It's VR exclusive, and that shows the developer failed to understand the most basic axiom of VR game design... if the only cool thing about your product is VR support, your product is not cool. You're forced to sign a highly questionable yet legally unenforceable End User License Agreement... for such a relatively low effort, low quality product, this comes across more as a delusion of grandeur than anything else. This agreement includes questionable requirements that may attempt to revoke consumer law protections that gamers expect to have, which is also highly problematic. Developers must learn they are here to serve gamers, not control them. I had my cat walk over the keyboard while the EULA was displaying, which fixed that problem for me. This game is ancient, it's over 10 years old... it's heavily dated and isn't going to give you a remotely contemporary gaming experience... another reason for gamers to be hesitant about adding this to their libraries. Now on to pricing and value for gamers. There's no initial download price, but the developer was charging $5 USD for this. Price barriers, especially on low quality products, can be a direct cause of failure. It seems like a nice gesture for the game to have no up-front cost anymore, but it also tells us that the game wasn't good enough to succeed as a paid product. This is also a bit of a slap in the face to anyone who showed enough questionable judgement to pay money for this... nobody got refunded. In terms of public reception, this failed. There's over 130 million unique gamers visiting Steam every month. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 8 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? This is a hard pass. There's no immediate financial commitment, but there are thousands of more compelling games on the platform that will give you a lot more enjoyment for your time.
