Fun so far

Did you ever wanted to play a skilling game in a world where skaters rules? Well... The developers of this game sure did, and they managed to make it work and be fun. Pow Vista is like a mix of Runescape and Skating, where literally everyone in the game world is a skater with their own skateboard, including the monsters. Your character even has skills for skating around the world, doing tricks like jumping ramps and stairways, beside I have no diea what the different tricks actually offer, other than visually looking different. The combat itself is mostly about riding on asphalt floor with your skateboard, and ramming your opponent with it, to inflict damage, making the target also be pushed back. If the target is pushed back off a ledge, you will instantly kill that creature, which is a very efficient way of grinding and cheesing monsters. There are also some skilling skills that are handy for adventure, like Cutting trees for logs, fishing for tentacles, so you can cook them to make you healing items and stuff. There's even way more skilling options, whose you'll initially be doing with your skateboard, until you can actually craft the tool specific for that skill. The biggest part of this game is the collectables you can get from monsters, each monster has their own Skateboard, Pet Egg and Hoodie for your character looks that you can collect, each with their own shiny relative version, which are also stronger. If you like collecting all different kinds of loots from a game, this one will have plenty for you to do. Just do mind that some loots may take a long time to drop, like the hoodie, since their drop rate is really low, but the game lets you know when the first one of them drop. This game also features a basic elemental affinity system, beside is quite tricky right now to check the elemental benefit and weakness the equipment gives, mostly because I only found out that you can check a item information through the Pow Dex (where items you found already are shown). Another great thing this game offers is its Pet system. Once you wander around the game world with a Pet Egg in the inventory, the Egg will hatch into a pet of that monster, which is a lot useful since isn't just a vanity pet. You can assign it to loot for items, like collect gold coins dropped on the ground (believe me when I say, you don't want to lose time going after loot when grinding), you can also assign it to help you with combat, dealing extra damage, and also to do some skilling, like collecting tentacles, logs and metals and store them on your storage, so you can craft stuff with them later. So pets are extremely useful in this game. Also, the pets level up, so the more levels they get, the more internal inventory they have, alongside the fact they can also wield a item, be it a skateboard or a tool. For now, hatching Pets are also the way you can get cash points in the game, since hatched pets from monsters on the field, always bring a ticket of 10 of the game currency on their inventory, so using it will give you cash points. After that, you can simply release the pet to free inventory space. I managed to bump into some quests in the game, and you need to pay attention to the dialogues, since there is no quest log in the game, but the npcs tend to tell you their information again if you talk to them. So far, I haven't bumped into some quest that requires absurd skilling to do, so the quests are pretty straight forward. And of course, they reward you once completed. Beside there are also some npcs in the game world that will let you make easy golds by simply delivering items to them, indefinitely. The soundtrack of the game... It exists. For a game about skating, the music doesn't actually stands out, and might actually be repetitive after a long period of time playing. Without counting that sometimes it's anti climatic, like the music from when inside the volcano. The game also features full item drop upon death, so be wary of that. Gladly, the developer added PvE servers recently, so you don't need to worry about other players grieffing you. Anyways, the only way you could get attacked by players on pvp servers is if you're on ground that skateboards can run at, so staying on the grass is safe. What can I say about Pow Vista? It's good. I recommend anyone to give it a try if you like skilling and collecting items, or if you're curious.
good game they fixed the issue of high lvl players hunting you down by giving them there own server
very chill and fund game to grind. the idea of runescape on a skateboard in the style of ds era pokemon is great
I know I gave a thumbs up but it was only so they will let me put this up. The game has been not working for over 20 hours. Made post on here about it and sent emails and got nothing back. heard nothing at all for them about the game not working. DO NOT GET THIS GAME. The game went down and they just are not going to do anything abut it or reply to the player about it. Do not install this game. I have only played for about 67 hours I have friends that have played over 200 hours.
I skate. I kill other skaters while skating. I get their shiny rare board and get to be even cooler while skating. :)
