Experienced on the Meta Quest 2
You can view my gameplay here: https://youtu.be/RwJo49Z5ndg I do NOT recommend this game. However, if you have ever wondered whether you can call yourself a PCVR veteran or if you're just another VR noob on par with the Quest mobile VR casual "gamers", then this is the perfect game to test out your VR mettle. Do you have what it takes? Do you have the "right stuff"? This game will test your limits. Just how strong are your VR legs? You'll climb as these floating, scalable containers will bounce, swing, & otherwise try to make you as sick as possible as you climb up and down trying to get that eviction notice. You'll jump & swing & hold on to dear life as your whole grabbing position is tossed & turned all around. Easy for a VR veteran like me who has played several VR games at 30 fps or less. Just another day in VR land really. However, I would imagine it is puke city for anybody else just not up to snuff. Like I said, I do NOT recommend this game. Rate 3.5/10. Only recommended for crazy, cold-heartened PCVR veterans since it's only $4 USD (I bought 15% off release sale).
If you enjoyed my review, please consider joining my Steam Curator Group. The game is fun, the only problems I had was my arms getting stuck in the walls and music slider not working, this is kinda an issue when recording
To Jankyy always getting stuck inside of things and shot across the map when teaching a object, to buggy, 2/10. It could be something cool, but needs more work on the jany-ness.
TLDR: It's rough, very rough, and it will make you motion sick, and it does look absolutely terrible even on the best of hardware. It's cheap, though, so... it's worth checking out for the meme value of it all. Pros: 1. The premise is good, unique theme of a crane carrying box houses with collectibles. Not a huge fan of the goal of destroying your eviction notice, but whatever. 2. There's physics involved in jumping around on these box homes, and sometimes, it feels very real... just sometimes, though. Cons: 1. The visuals are all washed out and feel way too bright. Tried game on every visual setting and it's washed out no matter what. A lot of geometry and draw calls seem to be wasted on the land far beneath the homes. I thought that was a skybox at first! LOL 2. Hands get stuck inside stuff and walls way too easily. Getting hands unstuck is no easy task. 3. UI and grabbables feel awkward. UI sometimes only reacts with the left hand. Grabbables get grabbed at awkward angles and can't be adjusted. 4. Often spawn inside a wall and have to respawn. 5. Running and jumping feels very awkward. 6. Ducking and jumping are the same button, which sucks when you need the duck mechanic to reach things as ducking IRL gets exhausting fast and sometimes results in your hands or head getting stuck in the geometry due to really weird physics glitches. Also, sometimes, you might fall through the floor of a home if you duck too much while moving. Overall, it's a mixed bag and feels more like a toy than a game. It's funny, but it's a crappy throwaway title. It doesn't feel great, but it has some good features mixed in. I like how climbing feels, but you're able to climb practically anything, so it negates the point of being careful where you go for the most part. If it wasn't cheap as hell, I'd not be recommending it, but it's $4, so eh... still a tough sale, honestly. If you're starved for entertainment, grab it, but temper your expectations.
I love it, very simple gameplay, yet the levels are also puzzling.
First of, this game has potential, or at least could have. You start of in a level select, weird with no introduction, but alright. I hit new game and got brought instantly in the game, graphics are fine but have this weird effect on them. It felt pretty good moving around, most objects could be picked up and there was text showing me exactly what to do, or at least trying to tell me. The text showing where the eviction notice was was fine for the first level or two, but after that i felt it was fairly annoying seeing all the time. There could have been an option for it, but as said earlier, the graphics had a weird effect on them, and text was hard to read. It was alright going through at first, but there was little to no variation, go and pick up the poem (optional) and then throw the eviction notice off. It quickly became bland and boring, as the map was only changing a bit. The audio was meh at best. "with stunning visuals and lifelike sound effects that fully immerse the players in the experience." The only audio that i vividly remember is the music that just cuts off if you're in a level for too long. No variation in the audio either. Not even a sound effect for picking up a poem or throwing the eviction notice off. The graphics as told earlier had a weird effect, but were fine. Immersive enough, but not better than anything like Boneworks, Pavlov or H3VR. Looking down though, you see a very undetailed "map" of the construction people? If you fall down, then it renders with better quality, but you're not falling down all the time. Controls were fine, grabbing onto most things is more than a few games can say. I was confused though when grabbing the handle of a drawer grabbed the entire drawer. You grab onto the entire model instead of just bits of it, which was unfortunate and sad. Also wish they had more things, triggers didn't even do anything other than just twitch the index finger. There was a bug apparent too, hands getting stuck in things was not fun. You just get stuck there and have to twitch yourself a lot to fix it. Also, in a level, you started just by falling to the bottom of a container. I'm usually fine to falling, but not when its unexpected, nothing from stopping me from playing, but pretty bad for others if they can't expect it. Those were my main gripes about the game, but why include achievements if you're only going to have one that's given from starting up the game? I think this type of movement could be better utilised in a climbing game, or something of the sort. I would be more fine with most of these things if it was free, because free things don't usually expect quality, but having to pay, even if it's a low price is setting the standard higher. I think a few patches could maybe fix up some of these complaints though, but the game in its current form, is more bad than good.
needs better jump mechanic
müthiş rahatlatıcı
