Poozle Mania is the second puzzling product developed by Shmoops Games. Does playing with balls excite you? Like the previous title, PumPum, Poozle Mania presents you with a light puzzle-like challenge. However, unlike the older title, here you're not matching objects but forming a line out of colored balls. Five or more balls lined up in several different configurations eliminate them, providing you with a number of points equivalent to the eliminated quantity. The configurations resemble various letters: K, X, T, etc., some of which offer you an achievement. Your goal at every stage is to reach the specified number of points three times while avoiding complete congestion. However, fear not, the stakes are low since there are no game-overs here. Even a fully stuffed field allows you to swap them around and form lines. All you need is patience, stress is not part of the equation here. Now, if you possess enough patience 21 stages await you. Moreover, if you feel tempted enough, you can extend the ride by 11 stages by purchasing the DLCs. A new type of ball is included for free! I can add that the design is functional and relatively pleasing. Don't expect a lot of frills here. It's nowhere near as good as Bejewelled in terms of flashy features or presentation. Very simple gameplay that does not change at all as you progress. You get what you see on the store page. As for my humble opinion, only if you enjoy similar puzzles you might experience some mild fun. You certainly could spend your money in less productive ways, but I would still recommend waiting till sale (especially the DLCs). Now a little bit about the other selling point of this title- the lewd art. The art style is clean and well-polished. It reminds me of the Korean manhwa (or maybe more accurately, of Chinese manhua). Every stage has its own character that undresses with each step. The level of lewdness is raised(mainly poses) in comparison to the previous game but it still is 95% just nude art. At least everything is uncensored, so you can ogle the ladies in all their glory. Lightly animated movement adds some charm too. Your reptile brain will enjoy this for sure. Audio-wise experience is decent enough here. There are about seven mostly electronic tracks that are recycled throughout the stages. Nothing memorable but they serve their role well. The sound effects are simple but it's nice they're there. No complaints about audio side from me. Good enough. Simple visual bugs in the menu can appear, but none of them are game-breaking. Also, one stage had no music. Overall, this game serves you a simple, low-stress puzzle, with little to no variation, but at least all is well presented and accompanied by ok tunes. Charming ladies certainly increase the value for those who seek such. I can somewhat recommend this game to those who enjoy similar titles, but would still recommend waiting for sale: 4.6/10
