Fulfill your girlfriend's fantasies. Decent. Wait for a discount, though.

I like books... especially when they are picture books... especially when they are picture books with BOOBS! My grandmother draws better hentai, but luckily I can fap to anything.

If I had to sum it up in one sentence, this is a cute little visual novel, on the shorter side of medium and the kinkier side of wholesome. It's clearly a passion project, and that shows through. The art carries it, and while the story isn't too deep, with lots of branching choices that lead to different outcomes, you can get some extra scenes if you make the right choices, and the dialogues do read naturally - like, actual living people talk this way, so I really don't mind. Pookie is adorable, and getting to experience being her boyfriend is a fun time. I actually like her better with the twin braids from her school days, but the short hair of older Pookie has a certain charm too. And the fact she's making her own game and enjoys cosplay - it's a dream come true for geeky guys everywhere. If you've enjoyed this visual novel, keep an eye out for sequels and other games made by Pookie - some are kinkier than others, but after this one you can mostly expect more in this exact style.
This was a neat game that I actually very much enjoyed my time with. It does have some quirks, but overall, it was quite enjoyable. If you like adult VN's, dating sims, a fun, light-hearted story with some serious moments, etc, you'll enjoy this one. This game is actually told through a series of smaller vignettes, rather than one, long, overarching story. In some ways, it's like a Choose Your Own Adventure-style. I think there's about 6 main story parts as your relationship with Pookie progresses, not including the opening Prologue. At the end, it also unlocks about another 6 short mini-story style encounters as well, which was a nice touch. There's actually quite a lot of content here for the price. I really enjoyed all the hand-drawn art and illustrations. It definitely has its own indie style. Every so often there are some little animations, but it's pretty light. Production quality is decent. If you like "indie" games, you'll appreciate this. I took my time and when it was all said and done, it took me about 5 hours to complete everything, but I wasn't in a hurry. The character of Pookie is quite interesting. I won't spoil anything, but she is a sweetheart, who also happens to have another very different side as well. Also, Pookie does seems to have her own internal struggles going on throughout it all. Coming to terms with herself, her life and still growing up, even as an adult. There's plenty of "scenes", but more than that, there's actually a pretty heart-felt story here. I picked this up when it was on sale, along with 3 or 4 of this developer's other games in this series, so I will be continuing on to Pookie #2 now. I'm looking forward to see how the story and the characters progress. I know that Pookie #3 came out in February and it's called the Final Episode, but I think the Character of Pookie is great and I hope that the Dev continues to make more Pookie games in the future. I played this game on Steam Deck and everything worked perfectly. You can save whenever you want and it draws almost no battery. A few technical notes to be aware of: there are often spelling/translation/grammatical errors throughout the entirety of this game. Idk if the script was never proofread or what, but you'll need to just accept this and enjoy the game in spite of these technical errors. Overall, I would recommend this game! It's quirky, heartfelt, sexy and one-of-a-kind!
