Experienced on the Oculus Rift with Touch Controllers
So this isn't really a free to play game. It is built to be ad-supported. The ads are pretty obnoxious and they are all over the place. Right now though, the ad seems to be like a placeholder as it seems no real advertiser has plopped down money for this. And why would they? This isn't a good game. It's a stand-still 360 wave shooter. There's a few different enemy skins and even a "boss fight" at the end. But really there's only melee and ranged enemies. The melee just walk straight towards you and let you shoot at them, except for the boss who walks towards you and away from you with no apparent purpose. The ranged just stand still in their spots, waiting for you to snipe them with your laser-guided arcane spell. There is no locomotion, but you do shoot at a symbol then get transported to the middle area of the next scene. You also shoot crystals that are obvious to see. Just not as obvious as the advertisement place-holders. Whole thing took me about 17 minutes to finish; it asked me if I wanted to retry. LOL! Rate 3.5/10. Well, mobile VR ads have now come to your Steam VR. Beware: the hounds of hell are at the gate, end times are near!

Nice but short, though it's also free. I beat it on my first try in like 20 minutes. Don't know if I even can die or if I only loose points when hit, probably the later. I can imagine playing a bigger gamme in such a style but with movement, not just randomly spawning enemies, different weapons including melee, ...
Good and fun RPG. I like that its free only some ads at places in some lvls but it did not bother me. Also a little bit short but its fun to play again for a beter score.
A bog-standard stand-in-place wave shooter, because, you'know, there aren't any of those in VR right now. Nothing new added to the genre, and the snarky, trying to be too-hip-for-the room "guide" needs an option to shut her up. The ads, though supposedly greatly reduced, are still distracting and annoying, and need to be moved out of the game space altogether. Who ever heard of giant flat-screen displays in a medieval castle? The ads, if you must have them, should be relegated to the start lobby, or put them on the walls of a Hall Of Champions where you view your scores after the game (Bonus to the advertiser, you'll get your ads up close where the player can see them, not 40 feet away and stuck on the ceiling). The game should just be the game. Ads can be in your game without wrecking the experience. Check out MSI Electric City or the Ikea VR Experiences to see it done right, and devs, follow their example. Played it once, beat it, delete it. And seriously, you create all these scenic play areas, and won't even let us poke around in them? C'mon!
Rotates your play area by 180 degrees, so you'll always be facing the other way compared to literally every other VR title. Also, *actual* ingame advertising. Ingame.
