HIGH POTENTIAL, needs a heavy UI/aesthetic overhaul (excessive usage of AI for art and voices) and better system optimization, but overall it's very fun gameplay and a humorous critique of political figures.

Update due to recent patches: The main story mode has changed. You can now start with only one character, and more ones will unlock as you defeat opponents. The plot also eliminates the generic talk before the battle in favor of extended story segments. Although the images look to be generated by AI, the campaign feels cohesive. If you merely want to play through the story, you can select the easiest difficulty level where opponents barely fight back. However, you’ll have to beat higher difficulty options if you want to unlock characters. Combat has also been changed. Although the characters' moves have not changed, they have gotten a few techniques that make gameplay easier and provide more control. AI doesn't feel as cruel anymore. Partially because the special attacks have been adjusted to prevent spam attacks. There's also a lot more extra content (not yet available). ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- It's a fun joke brawler for a while, but it's not deep enough to keep you interested for long. The controls are identical for all fighter. There are weak and heavy attacks for both the hands and the legs, as well as a block and a unique trigger that activates four special attacks. While the animations vary, the special attack inputs are the same for everyone. The annoying thing is that characters repeat a line every time you use a special attack. The main mode tells a pretty basic story. There are only two speech bubbles before each combat, and a brief recap after you defeat your opponent. Nothing intriguing occurs, and there are no twists. The goal is simple: beat all opponents. Every fighter has a distinct set of moves. Although they all wear suits that make them look too identical, their large heads and exaggerated facial characteristics make them easy to identify. Several of the secondary characters appear during special attacks. A fight ends when someone wins two rounds. The strange part is that there's no health bar. You have no idea how close you are to beating your opponent. The computer AI is brutal and spams special attacks that you can't escape from. It can become unbearable even on the lowest difficulty.

The unlocks do not work, there is many easy infinite's with the Down Back + 2 being super easy to loop into another one of itself, and when they get low enough just alternate Down Back + 2 and Down Back + 1. I beat The campaign on Normal and Very hard, and encountered sleepy joe yet I cant seem to unlock any characters. Avoid like the plague as me and my buddy were the only people online according to steam charts, so if that tells you anything but run I cant help you.

Funny game, love the jokes. Story mode is fun, I unlocked a few characters so far but I want to unlock the Hillary character, she looks cool. AI content could be improved, but since the game is made by a small indie team it is acceptable. Looking forward to additional content mentioned in the coming soon tab.
