banger ale polda je degeš
Kratší, vtipnější než 4 díl .. a bez miniher :( Ale pořád skvělá zábava s velmi kvalitním dabingem, Zdeněk Izer potěšil .. Nuff said ..
Pětka je v sérii Polda takové trochu nechtěné, nepovedené dítě, no zkrátka nejslabší díl. 3/5

Polda 5 is a modern continuation of a long-running Czech adventure series that proudly embraces classic point-and-click design while wrapping it in a playful, time-traveling detective narrative. Developed and published by Zima software, the game positions itself as both a celebration of traditional adventure mechanics and a lighthearted comedy that thrives on absurd situations, clever dialogue, and puzzle-driven progression. Rather than attempting to modernize the genre through heavy streamlining or cinematic spectacle, it doubles down on exploration, curiosity, and the slow satisfaction of unraveling problems one step at a time. The story centers on Pankrác, a seasoned detective whose career has taken an unexpected turn into the realm of time policing. Tasked with preserving the integrity of history, he finds himself chasing anomalies across wildly different eras after a strange package sets off a chain of temporal disturbances. This narrative framework gives the game freedom to jump between settings that would otherwise feel disconnected, allowing players to visit ancient civilizations, secret military facilities, and eccentric modern locations without straining plausibility. The plot is less about high-stakes drama and more about comedic momentum, using time travel as an excuse to throw Pankrác into increasingly ridiculous scenarios that highlight his dry wit and stubborn persistence. Gameplay follows a familiar and comforting rhythm for fans of classic adventure games. Players move from scene to scene, clicking on environments to uncover interactive elements, collecting items, and engaging in dialogue with a large cast of characters. Inventory management plays a central role, with many puzzles requiring creative combinations or unconventional uses of everyday objects. Progress often depends on paying close attention to dialogue hints and environmental details, rewarding careful observation over brute-force experimentation. While the game rarely holds the player’s hand, its logic generally remains fair, encouraging thoughtful problem-solving rather than arbitrary leaps in reasoning. Puzzle variety is one of the game’s strengths, with challenges ranging from straightforward item-based tasks to more elaborate logic problems tied directly into the narrative. Some puzzles rely on understanding character motivations or cultural context within a specific time period, while others hinge on comedic misdirection that plays with player expectations. The difficulty curve is steady rather than punishing, making the game approachable for newcomers while still offering enough complexity to satisfy genre veterans. Occasional moments of backtracking are present, but they feel intentional, reinforcing the sense of being a detective piecing together clues across multiple locations. Visually, Polda 5 adopts a stylized, cartoon-inspired presentation that suits its humorous tone. Characters are exaggerated and expressive, with animations that emphasize comedic timing rather than realism. Backgrounds are colorful and varied, giving each location a distinct personality while maintaining a cohesive art style. Although the visuals are not cutting-edge, they are clean and readable, ensuring that interactive elements stand out clearly within each scene—an important consideration for a game built around exploration and discovery. Sound design complements the visual style with playful music and ambient effects that reinforce the mood of each location. Dialogue delivery, whether voiced or text-based depending on version and settings, leans into comedic pacing, allowing jokes to land without overstaying their welcome. The overall audio presentation supports immersion without overpowering the experience, maintaining a relaxed atmosphere that encourages extended play sessions. Narratively, the game shines through its humor and character interactions rather than deep emotional arcs. Conversations are packed with jokes, references, and absurd exchanges that keep the tone consistently light. Pankrác himself is a classic adventure protagonist—competent but often outmatched by the strangeness of his surroundings—which makes his reactions a key source of entertainment. Supporting characters, while often caricatured, are memorable enough to give each chapter its own flavor. Despite its many strengths, the game’s commitment to traditional design may not appeal to everyone. Players unfamiliar with point-and-click conventions may find the pacing slower than modern narrative games, and those seeking streamlined progression or constant guidance might feel momentarily lost. However, these qualities are also what give Polda 5 its charm, preserving the sense of agency and discovery that defines the genre. Ultimately, Polda 5 is a confident and affectionate tribute to classic adventure games, offering a well-rounded experience built on humor, clever puzzles, and imaginative settings. It succeeds not by reinventing the genre, but by refining and presenting it with personality and care. For players who enjoy thoughtful exploration, witty writing, and the timeless appeal of point-and-click detective work, it delivers a satisfying journey that feels both nostalgic and freshly playful. Rating: 6/10
Polda 5 je další díl legendární české adventurní série a opět přináší typický humor, absurdní situace a návrat detektiva Pankráce. Hra si drží klasický point-and-click styl, kde jde hlavně o kombinování předmětů, řešení hádanek a postup v příběhu.
