Somehow better than the first Poker Night, with slicker play. Even Claptrap is good is this. I know.

Hopefully this gets the same fresh coat of paint the original did. There's more to like here, but the world improves at poker every year, meaning the flawed AI gets worse and worse. Brock, Sam and Max are great characters. Brock and Sam play about as one would expect. Claptrap playing poker like an idiot, the way Claptrap should, becomes more enjoyable for those of us who liked Borderlands 2. Ash is the weak link, as a somewhat dull character with an AI best described as "less intelligent Brock." The turbo blind structure is the sort of thing recreational players do not play, the AI doesn't size bets well and it's something of a sucker for big check raises. If those issues were fixed, this would be an excellent sim of a neighborhood or work poker game. As it stands, it's still enjoyable to spin up for a bit every once in a while.
