About
Welcome to a game that won’t go easy on you.
You’re a bald guy with a pogo stick and a set of questionable life choices.
Armed with stubbornness and optimism that fades faster than your progress.
This is a climb where every mistake is a ticket back down.
And if you fall — don’t worry, the mountain isn’t going anywhere.
It patiently waits to greet you at the bottom again.
🖱 Control
• Fully mouse-based.
• It’s convenient until the moment you realize the mouse is your biggest enemy.
• Wrong angle — you fall.
• Hand twitched — you fall.
• Thought about food — still fall.
⚙ Features
• 🧠 Skill growth — the game doesn’t get easier; you just get used to the suffering.
• ⛰ A route full of surprises — sometimes pleasant, usually not.
• 😤 Physics that work perfectly… until they start working against you.
• 🎢 Emotional rollercoaster — every climb is triumph, every fall is philosophy.
🧑🤝🧑 Multiplayer (even worse)
If you want to feel true disappointment in humanity — invite your friends.
👥 Up to 4 players, each guaranteed to ruin your jump.
🌀 Two skills:
• Pull — drag a friend closer so you both fall together.
• Push — launch your buddy into orbit so he can rethink his life mid-air.
The multiplayer atmosphere is always friendly.
Well… in theory.
🎯 Goal
Your goal is simple: climb.

This is a very niche kind of game, for a very specific kind of gamer. I fully expect most people will not enjoy it, but if you're into frustration tests or a little masochism, you might get something out of it. --- Functionally it's a one trick pony. You jump with a pogo stick, you can lean left, you can lean right and… that's it. Two minutes into the game you've experienced the entire concept in full. Everything beyond that is a pure test of patience and ludicrous precision skill. The timing and angle of the jump is everything, and there's no margin for error other than trying again. If you're playing games to "have fun" or "enjoy a story" or literally any other reason than the pure challenge of trying to accomplish a tedious task with precision, this isn't a game for you. I don't know if I can adequately write anything more accurate about the game than the store page provides for you, so I'll quote it again here: "About This Game Bounce, suffer, and try again. Pogo-Stick: Ultimate Challenge — a brutally difficult physics-based platformer where one wrong bounce sends you back to the beginning. Control your pogo with only your mouse. Left click to compress the spring. Find the perfect angle. Jump. Miss. Fall. Climb again. There are no checkpoints. There is no mercy. Only your skill and pain tolerance. ⚠️ WARNING: This game is not for everyone. You will slip. You will scream. You might uninstall. If you’re looking for a relaxing experience — this is not it. But if you enjoy rage games, brutal challenges, and testing your patience… welcome. Master the pogo-stick: 🌲 Jump through forests, cliffs, and absurd obstacles 💀 Expect to fall. A lot. 🏆 Reach the top... if you can" Need something to compare it to? It's in the same direction as: https://store.steampowered.com/app/240720/Getting_Over_It_with_Bennett_Foddy/ Which I've written about before: Click Here To Read A quote from that games store page: A game I made for a certain kind of person. To hurt them. ~ Could apply to Pogo-Stick: Ultimate Challenge just as easily. If you're still reading this and wondering if the game is for you, it probably isn't. There are some games I would slam for being so single minded, but this isn't hiding what it is. The store page is honest and the price is low. --- Bottom line: This is a test of skill and patience; you either want that for yourself or you should avoid. --- While you are here, would you consider following my curator page? Want to read all of my reviews and not just the curated ones?
It’s The Witcher of the platformer world.
Amazing game! Every jump feels like an Olympic event because if you mess up you go tumbling down. It’s the kind of chaos that makes you scream, laugh, and realize that life can be even harder than you'd expect. There's nothing quite like the moment when I finally stick a perfect jump and move on. Visually, the game is charming with its pixel-art style, and the eerie atmosphere adds to the tension. Absolute madness. The game is challenging enough as it is, and suddenly, every mistake feels ten times worse. Final Verdict: 10/10
this game will appeal to fans of such games as only up and getting over it. i really liked the segment with the waterfall, the game has many things that have not been in games of this genre before. i like the game design and how the obstacles are built, i think i will play this game more than once. I would also like to add that the game works perfectly on my steam deck giving 60 fps at 8 tdp. I use trackpads for a better experience

This game is a foddian game with mouse controls only where you move the mouse left or right for the angle of your character and click to jump. In the multiplayer, you can enable a rope to pull someone with right click. The map is well design and most area have a pre-designed fall that aren't too punishing if taken safe but can get punishing if you panic and spam jump. As mentioned is has multiplayer that worked pretty well, you have an option to have collision too but it seems awfull so it's cool that you can disable it. The lobby host also save the non host player location for next time which is really nice. Overall a fun and challenging foddian game
