Pogo Rogue is one of the best rogurlike I played Up ther with Hades 1 and the fact that this game is FREE I don't see a reason to not play it. But I have only one complaint and its the replayability after you beat the game because ther is no way to make it harder like lets say the heat system in Hades. But still this game is a must try.
The physics of this game is a little bit weird. Your new velocity after your next jump/shot is solely determined by your orientation but not your current momentum. It's a bit annoying if you've piloted a drone before or have been used to real-life physics. Personally I would not recommend it for the physics, but after all it is a good game. The graphics and the music and the smooth animations are really good.

I would love to be able to recommend this, it is incredibly fun and a unique take on the roguelite genre but often the generation is terrible, usually there are around 5-15 enemies in a room and the layout is normal, but sometimes i come across these rooms with 200+ enemies just floating in the air, clipping through the walls and just pieces of walls doing the same thing, sometimes you cant even enter rooms because of this and it is done consistently enough that it almost seems like it is done on purpose
Pogo rogue is a lot of fun, I played it a bunch back in early access, but then my computer broke down(unrelated, it was an old and crappy thing already). I have a new computer now, and the other day I downloaded it again. I was kinda jumpscared by all the new stuff in the game(like the hub area) still a lot of fun, and I'm happy it's getting updates!
