Concept was good but the game or well, the menu did not feel very intuitive and lot of things are kinda confusing in general. Maybe a quick 2 seconds tutorial can help with that. Just from UI/UX perspective I would've preferred if ESC wasn't a usable button but also closed the game completely or if the buttons had some explanation to them or at least a button for a "dictionary" of symbols.

This is an incredible game! It's a wonderful blend of pachinko, coin pushers, pinball, and a gambling game with slots, tickets, points, and chests! I've never encountered anything like it before, a unique blend with enjoyable gameplay. - Large 3D isometric fields with various themes - Excellent optimization - Excellent controlled gameplay - Free, but it really should be worth it. I bought the DLC for a small fee. I'm amazed at how well the developer understands the player's needs. Just when I was thinking it would be nice if the balls launched themselves, something magical happened: at a certain point, they started launching themselves in a specific, reasonable situation (there's an option to always launch the balls, but I was against it; I wanted to launch them myself). It was a real pleasure. In short, I still wonder why I didn't find it on Steam before, even though it was already available there. Google AI and a festival of games in this field helped with the search. A huge thank you to the developer for a wonderful game with excellent game design and visuals, which is a pleasure to play. The only issue is the occasional minor stutter at 120 fps, but it's not at all critical.
"Pocket Pusher" is surprisingly quite far from the worst of the amateur junk that exists on Steam because Steam Direct has no QA, but that's still almost a compliment... this is, however, barely a game, it's more of an incrementer/idler meets slightly surreal "coin pusher" game. You know the gambling machines you often see in arcades and other places where there's a bunch of coins and a moving platform, and if you put your own coins in, then maybe more coins will come out than you put in... and there lies the scam, of course, because those machines are rigged in the house's favour, of course. But I digress a little, and first and foremost while this is deceptively pushed as a free game when it isn't, there's at least no attempt at actual gambling here, no cash shop, no in-game currency etc. Instead you just watch the coins and eventually increment your way up to the rather shallow and unrewarding unlocks. The gimmick instead lies on this being an absurdly supersized version of those coin pusher like attractions, which is interesting for about 30 seconds. And there's a few environments you get for free, but you do have to pay money to unlock the full "experience", and one thing gamers don't like is products being pushed as free when there's an obscured price tag behind the DLC. In terms of visuals, this features fairly low quality low poly 3D graphics which will deter a lot of gamers, understandably. Gaming is a visual medium, and while some developers struggle with creating high quality visuals, failing to do so is a disservice to gamers. It's very difficult to recommend bad looking games. Now on to pricing and value for gamers. As mentioned this isn't free, you need to pay $2 to unlock the full game-like "experience" through DLC... misleading pricing and abuse of the "Free" section of Steam. In terms of public reception, this failed to appeal to the 130 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at just a dozen or so concurrent players, and now there's basically nobody playing it. Even though it's free. This is a dismal public reception, but it's easy to see why gamers rejected it. Since free games don't contribute to your game collector badge and other profile stuff, is this a worthwhile addition to your Steam library? Pass on this one. There's no immediate financial commitment, but there are thousands of more compelling games on the platform that will give you a lot more enjoyment for your time.
If you're looking for a review on this game you've come to the wrong place, but if you're looking for an outstanding pie recipe you've come to the right place. Ingredients: 1. 6 tablespoons unsalted butter 2. 1/2 cup white sugar 3. 1/2 cup brown sugar 4. 1/4 cup water 5. 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon 6. 1 pinch salt 7. 5 apples - peeled, cored and sliced 8. 1 pastry for double-crust pie Directions: 1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C). 2. Combine butter, white sugar, brown sugar, water, cinnamon, and salt in a saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a boil, remove from heat and set aside. 3. Roll out half the pastry to fit a 9-inch pie plate. Place bottom crust in pie plate; pour in apple slices. 4. Roll out top crust into a 10-inch circle. Cut into 8 (1-inch) wide strips with a sharp paring knife or pastry wheel. Weave the pastry strips, one at a time, into a lattice pattern. Fold the ends of the lattice strips under the edge of the bottom crust and crimp to seal. 5. Pour butter-sugar mixture over top of pie, coating the lattice, and allowing any remaining sauce to drizzle through the crust. 6. Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C), and bake until the crust is golden brown, the caramel on the top crust is set, and the apple filling is bubbling, 35 to 40 more minutes. Allow to cool completely before slicing.
