Plush Parade

Relaxing and charming game. The gameplay loop is essentially mixing and matching doll parts to make a plush, putting them up for sale, and then spending that money to unlock more doll parts. The art looks great and it's genuinely very fun to make collections of plushes that fit a theme. The gameplay is really straightforward and it's not intended to be challenging. My only complaint is that when you make a lot of plushes, eventually it feels a bit tiring to click on each plush each day to order more stock or promote the plush. Overall it's delightfully chill. If you are someone that enjoyed the gameplay loop of Sticky Business, you'll enjoy this too.

Kinda like someone made a character creator into a game. As someone who loves to spend hours in character creator segments of games, I figured this would be nearly perfect for me. (But to be honest I'm not a huge chibi/baby doll fan and I find them a little uncanny. A TinyTammy-is-gonna-show-up in-my-kitchen-with-a-knife-at-midnight feeling.) Overall I like it but I have a few gripes and things that I think should simply be changed. Was hoping you could make more animal-like dolls like the one on the cover art. [strike]I haven't unlocked everything but so far I can't make a mouth like that. There is a closed "w" mouth but that is all.[/strike] (Found it recently, its in the gothic style which is second to last in the game.) So far I cannot make animal plushies just human/elf ones in cutesy animal costumes. And I wish the in game style for the plushies was closer to the cover art. The mouths look more 3D than I was expecting. It feels weird to complain about since that must have been much more work but I think 2D texture/cloth mouths would have been cuter and feel more "plush-y" imo. I have no idea how to unlock more hair and eye colors, and the fact the random generator can select them but I cannot makes me think it is bugged. The game rewards you for having the most unique pieces for each doll, which encourages the player to make every doll complex as the next. It also encourages every doll piece to be different at least in color. Would be nice if a collection was actually rewarded for having dolls share one feature to unify them in some way. They all have a majority of snowy items/they all have pointed ears/they are all human/all have the same eyes etc. Maybe this score could boost the popularity of the whole line? You quickly run out of unique mouths. I really recommend the scoring be changed to take into account both mouth shape and teeth together as unique mouths. The hair styles already seem to do this with the main hair and the bangs together. Also would really appreciate if the star score wasn't blocked by the ready button font. Having a star show up on each page showing how much each piece is contributing to the score would be great as well. Other QOL things that other reviewers mentioned like copying a doll, editing a doll, changing collection names and colors, would all be appreciated. Maybe it is only my computer having this problem but the game makes it run very loud like it is rendering an open world game. For the kind of game it is I wouldn't expect that tbh. There are no graphics settings to change in game, so either those or more optimization would be greatly appreciated. A few resolution options have been added recently, and that is helping, so thanks to the developer. The blindboxes are fun at first but after the tenth time it feels more like a chore. I'm going to unlock the whole theme so it doesn't exactly matter what I get first. This is probably just a problem for me since I only like to make dolls with the whole theme unlocked. You are expected to make so many dolls it can actually start to feel like a job. This does encourage me to take more breaks at least which is almost refreshing compared to the addictive nature of many games nowadays. For anyone needing ideas, I recommend using the randomizer to give yourself a jump start on styling a doll. Aside from all that, I am enjoying the game. It's a fair price. Your-ah-story based "obstacles" are amusing. The colors and overall aesthetic is good. When I can make a doll that really comes together it is very satisfying.

idk if its my computer or what. But tell my why I can run the sims 4, but not this game?? It told me I needed to download something before I played, and I did, and my game is still SO laggy. I can't even play.

Liebe das Spiel. Super gemütlich und kreativ. Es gibt so viele Möglichkeiten zum gestalten und die kleine Story hat mich sehr zum schmunzeln gebracht.
