There is little that drives me more insane than "relaxing" games that think refusing to explain anything is somehow relaxing. No text (Hope you can understand spoken English!) "Follow the illustration!" (which isn't being shown, but instead a big fancy symbol which is apparently NOT the "illustration" is being shown, and how are you supposed to know that?) "You're not doing it right. Try looking at the lights." (Which ALSO aren't being shown, at least not until you stop doing anything and wait patiently for lights that you don't know about to show up) Congratulations, you've now made a single image. What do you do next? Good luck figuring that out, since NONE OF THE CONTROLS ARE LABELED and none of them appear to allow any progress. Flip back and forth between the "book" of stars and the single constellation repeatedly. Can't find any way to open a new level. Can place stars randomly and "catalog" them and then delete them but this accomplishes nothing. Apparently there's supposed to be something intuitive that will just come to you if you are in the flow. I'm sure it will be obvious once it's pointed out. But the game ISN'T pointing it out. EDIT: After watching a video and seeing someone rotate the view that *doesn't* have any visible rotation arrows on it, I eventually managed to right-click and rotate (again, absolutely nothing in-game telling me I could do this). However, that person's video showed new constellation puzzles appearing when they did this. Mine does not. Nothing happens!
Clever games curator review: 0/10. Unplayable, even on the very first screen. This appears to never have been tested on a single person (or the dev was there walking them thru what to do). For the amount of effort (and cost!) of putting a full game on steam you owe yourself a couple of blind play-tests to see what's unclear. In this case, what's unclear is the *entire* game. Ironically, the game has a built in narrator that attempts to fix this by giving you hints when you don't make progress, BUT those hints are just as unclear as the game itself, and seem to refer to cues that don't actually appear. Perhaps the game is not just unclear, but fundamentally broken? There's a lot I'll tolerate from a first-time dev, but a 1GB download that produces an unplayable game is not something I'll give a free pass to. 110% thumbs down.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qKP9pAolyV0 This is a very small indie project that is super chill to play an relax to. I really like the concept of making constellations into a puzzle game. The music is relaxing as well.
Also ist doch alles gut? Leider Nein. Was man genau tun soll? Keine Ahnung. Aber was solls. Keine Ahnung. Sagt ja niemand was.
It would make a lot more sense if it told you to rotate the map with the right click. The game managed to crash on me, I got the "Discover every constellation" achievement before finding them all, and the constellation "journal" or whatever straight up broke... Also, why does the "undo" tool also undo the stars on the main constellations? It's not like you can find "wrong" stars there. I think the game has potential but needs polish.
Fun little puzzle game with really well done visuals and narrative. Especially liked the little touch where the music evolves as you complete more puzzles!
Genuinly have no idea why some are saying that it's difficult to know what you need to do, finding them can be confusing at first sure. But once you done 1 it's so obvious what you have to do. It's a fun little puzzle game that you can complete in 15 mins.
WOWEE I MAKE STARS WOOOOO FUN GAME WOWEE!
