PJ Masks Power Heroes: Mighty Alliance

Unfortunately the game is 100% broken and considering it was last updated in Jan 2024, I doubt the developer cares or plans to ever fix it. I feel it's disgraceful for Steam to be selling this game when it doesn't LAUNCH or WORK, and for nearly 60 AUD too! Do NOT buy this on Windows. You have been warned. I had to do a lot of troubleshooting to find out what the issue was, and only the dev can fix it. First launch was fine, I changed resolution and audio level settings and started the game to test if I wanted to keep it. After 5 minutes I had an important call so exited the game. Upon relaunch, I get a white screen on game load that never goes away - it's supposed to click over into a logo animation and it stops just before that point and infinitely hangs (check discussion area, I am not the only one). If I uninstalled and reinstall the game, properly (i.e. with REVO uninstall to remove registry settings), upon re install the game works fine again. However I had to work out what breaks it, and sadly, it's a bad one. Basically, I initially thought it might be a resolution setting issue or full screen mode, etc, so this time I left all options at default,. And it DID re start a second time. However, third time it did not. What changed between 2nd and 3rd launch? I actually started the game itself, i.e. gameplay. So that's the issue. If you start ANY level of actual gameplay, on quit and re load the game will never launch again no matter what. Therefore it is obviously a bug when the game tries to load save games on startup, hence only the dev can fix it, and it's not as if it's some uber popular game that a user has made a hack fix for (I looked). So unless you plan to install it and play it ONCE, right through on the first game, forget it! What a joke. Stuff like this is offensive when it's so expensive. Yes, I am offended. I have refunded it and am giving the money to charity. Much better.

Fun game for the kids, but for some reason the game stopped working after awhile. it would load up the makers screens, but once it you get pass the Out Right Games screen, you get a white screen and that's all. you can't play the game afterwards. it was working just fine for the past, but now it doesn't work anymore.

This is definitely the best PJ Masks video game by far, it's nearly flawless, the developers of the previous game responded to the issues of Heroes of the Night, and went "We can do better than this, let's make a really good game and spend time what works, what didn't, and what needed improving." they made gold here, I encourage anyone, if not everyone to buy this game, but heads up, you will need a high end computer to play this, if not, get it on console, either way, you're bound to have a good time, I definitely want another PJ Masks Power Heroes game, one that plays like 3D collect-a-thon platformer like Super Mario 64 and Banjo-Kazooie, keep the same developer but include a second developer like 3DClouds to help make it alongside with Petoons Studio to include a free roaming 3D world like PAW Patrol World.

Hello! I am reviewing a copy of PJ Masks provided by Outright Games. I completed the main story and got all of the masks and presents. I haven't nabbed all of the gems yet, but we all need goals in life to keep us going! Anyway, I really enjoyed this title. There are four different areas to explore with five levels each. The bulk of this game is platforming, but you also have an endless runner car driving portion. There are also two separate levels in each section that modify the platforming. In one, you basically skateboard or windsurf. So, it is kind of like a rail platformer? In there other you play the flying characters. It is still a platforming level, but plays a bit like a flying shooter. Overall, there is quite a bit of variety in the gameplay. There are three different types of collectibles for the completionists out there. The greatest feature of the game is how different each of the characters plays. If you have ever wanted to be behind the wheel of literally ALL of the PJ Masks characters, you get a chance to do so in Mighty Alliance. The only real downside for me was that the boss battles switch to quick time events. I think this might be fine for kids, because they essentially get to play a cut scene from the show. For me, I really wanted to fight Luna Girl and Romeo with fisticuffs. But, that's a dream for another day, I suppose. Anyway. I liked the game and recommend it for your kiddies, or even a grown up that likes more youthful games. As a platformer, it is pretty solid! I had fun!

La storia di questo gioco è semplice. Newton star, il piccolo scienziato, tenta di concludere un esperimento sulla base orbitante dei piccoli eroi. Ma qualcosa va storto e molti pezzi della base tra ingranaggi, celle energetiche e gemme vengono sparse sulla terra. Gattoboy organizza una missione di recupero, perciò l'intero team si organizza in piccole squadre da 2 membri per coprire più luoghi nel tentativo di recuperare il tutto, ma anche i cattivi sono alla ricerca dei pezzi per chissà quale scopo. Quindi sta al giocatore affrontare i vari livelli per recuperare il tutto. Il gioco è composto da 4 mondi ognuno composto da 6 livelli di cui 4 in cui userete la coppia di eroi nei ultimi 2 userete l'auto sia come livello a se, che per raggiungere uno dei cattivi, e qui affrontare la battaglia con dei eventi non a tempo. (Tipo premere continuamente il pulsante a o muovere continuamente la levetta sinistra a sinistra e a destra.) Fino a sconfiggerlo. Invece i livelli cambiano a secondo la coppia scelta. Ma son sempre a scorrimento 2d. Le coppie non cambiano nei mondi successivi. Ad esempio si affronta un livello solo volo con Gufetta e fata Lily, un percorso di snowboard con newton e polarino. La stranezza di Newton che fa coppia con polarino anzichè usare armadillan che era più logico. (Quest'ultimo rotola alla sonic) Newton vola nello spazio così come fata Lily. Poi c'e Geco che fa coppia con An yu ma è l'unico che non ha il doppio salto, in compenso può arrampicarsi sui muri, anche quelli di ghiaccio. Invece An yu può planare con il suo bastone e questo è un livello misto platform/arrampicata. Per finire la coppia di gatti composta da Bastet e Gatto boy. Nei livelli ci sono collezionabili da raccogliere, oltre alle gemme che sono la maggior parte, ci sono 2 maschere da super eroe e un pacco regalo. Se finite il livello normalmente riceverete uno dei ingranaggi, la cella energetica la recuperate dal boss del mondo. Ogni mondo ha bisogno di 1 cella energetica cumulativa per essere sbloccato. Se invece nel livello prendete tutte le gemme le maschere e il regalo riceverete una coppa. Tranquilli, se volete, potete rigiocare i livelli per "completarli al 100%". La coppa non serve ai fini del titolo o ma c'e un achievement che vi obbliga a prendere tutte le maschere e i collezionabili, per le gemme basta collezionarne 6500 per l'achievement, che però non si sblocca se non finite il livello. Nel senso che quando qualsiasi "sfida/achievement" viene sbloccata nel livello, se non lo terminate, steam non ve lo sblocca. Le musiche sono adatte al titolo, mentre la grafica poteva essere migliore. Peccato la mancanza del doppiaggio italiano e del multi slot, oltre alla mancanza delle schede dei personaggi nuovi, come fata Lily o polarino, mi son visto la serie per capire il loro background. Buono che hanno inserito le opzioni di accessibilità per renderlo più godibile per quei giocatori che hanno "problemi". Lo consiglio a chi vuole achievement easy o ai fan della serie, per gli altri potete passare oltre. ^_^ P.s: La longevità riguarda anche le molte volte che ho ripetuto i livelli per prendere tutte le gemme, specie i livelli con l'auto.

Bonitinho. Tem a gameplay melhor que os jogos da patrulha canina (por exemplo), mas se você não for criança ou não tiver uma criança que vai jogar, não vale a pena, mesmo com o desconto que peguei de 70%. É muito simplório, não tem como morrer, cair em abismos e etc. Se vc é esbarra em mobs vc não morre, apenas perde tempo, que na verdade os inimigos nem atrapalham, você pode ir se esquivando deles facilmente, e acaba que você tenta ir pegando todos os cristais de cada fase e isso não faz diferença. Para as conquistas finais da Steam , só precisa de todos os colecionáveis (máscaras de cada dupla de personagens em cada fase, e os "presentes", que ficam escondidos em locais bem fáceis de encontrar, nem adianta tentar ficar explorando, pq não tem lugar pra entrar e explorar, o lugar onde eles vão estar "escondidos" você vai passar naturalmente praticamente "ignorando o jogo" e seguindo em frente) Em resumo a única coisa um pouquinho divertida pra mim foi com um heroizinho verde que escala as paredes. Mas tem o gráfico bonitinho, bem otimizado, acaba rodando até setup ruim mesmo sendo bonitinho, tem uma historinha bem feita com cuts, interface e legendas em pt-br e a dublagem em inglês não é genérica igual vários jogos que já vi, vários personagens que acabam tornando o jogo bsicamente com 3 tipos de fases diferentes: 1- no chão, com azul flash q tem pulo duplo e faz movimentos de dash + a tigresa que tbm tem pulo duplo e atira projéteis 2 - voando, com 2 menininhas, uma vermelha e 1 branca 3 - parecido com o primeiro, mas o herói verde escala paredes a maior parte do tempo e é interessante e depois a ninja que além dos pulos duplo pode "plainar", acho q essa dupla tbm possui ataques de perto, diferente da primeira que é a coisa mais sem graça. Recomendado apenas pra crianças, e só coloquem os modos de facilitar se for pequena, se for criança maior deixa tudo no manual que não é nada difícil.

My 3 year old son loves this game. It's very well made with simple controls and is very forgiving for little kids since you can't really die/fail/lose at any level. The game is also very diversified and each level and character plays differently. In general, I love these games from Outright Games which are beautifully made and very kid friendly. For adult players however, it would be too easy and too short so I wouldn't recommend it for older kids who expect a challenge.

Comparing this game to Heroes of the Night is like comparing Ocarina of Time to Mineirinho Ultra Adventures. You can't. This game is just SO, SOOO much better than Heroes of the Night in every way imaginable. First off, let's start with the graphics. Boy did they improve from the last game! They just scream in detail, and although the quality is not the best (if compared to the actual show) it is very accurate to the actual character and scenery designs; The gameplay is also very nice, and varies a lot. In each world, there are 4 normal platformer levels (which have a Banjo Kazooie and Crash Bandicoot style), 1 runner level (your character keeps moving to the right and you have to dodge obstacles and jump), and 2 car levels (one of those is the bossfight). These car levels are very difficult and challenging too, I almost rage quitted a lot of times, I have to admit lol; but what REALLY makes this game stand out is the voice-acting and the soundtrack. HOLY MACARRONI IT'S SO AWESOME! Not only did they bring back ALL of the show's voice actors (that didn't happen in Heroes of the Night), they do an EXCELLENT job and really bring the spirit of the show to console/PC. I'll highlight Addison Holley (Owlette), Zoe Hatz (Lilyfay) and ESPECIALLY Callum Shoniker (Romeo). The soundtrack is AWESOME too, one of the best I've seen in a children's game like this. It sounds really similar to Mario Galaxy, and I definitely get why XD About the white screen bug, if you're having issues with it, just close and launch the game over and over again. It WILL work eventually, trust me. Overall, excellent game, worth a try.
