Pixel Puzzle Makeout League

I saw this game demoed at PAX East 2019. Booth person: Do you have any questions? Me: Yes, actually... Just... Why the [censored] did you make this? Booth person: No one told us we couldn't. ...and that's when I resolved to buy the game upon release. And now that I've finally had the free time to actually play it... I'm legitimately amazed at how engrossing this mish-mash of genres is. I don't know of an indie game in recent history I'd recommend as much as this one. We demand a follow up, Rude Ghost!

So many picross! The ending was crazy :o I love the theme customisation.

This may be the most clever game I've ever played. It's very evident how much love and effort went into making this. The story is great, the writing is hilarious (I've lost track of the amount of times I've actively laughed out loud), and the soundtrack is fantastic. Also, you can date a giant puzzle piece. 10/10

Fun characters, charming dialogue, fantastic music, well-designed puzzles... a great hidden gem!

The picross game with dating sim elements made me cry. This game has some very fun and clever writing and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I was laughing at so many points. The puzzles are great fun and I would highly recommend.

It may not stand above Murder by Numbers, but Pixel Puzzle Makeout League holds its own as a solid picross puzzler. And it’s arguably better functionally on the Steam Deck when you compare the two games. Although I often found myself annoyed by the characters, there is enough weird and unpredictable twists and turns to keep you guessing. Definitely recommended if you like picross puzzles.

Очень очень скучно. Сюжет никакущий, диалоги никакущие, персонажи никакущие. Геймплейно тоже не впечатлило. Прям мусор, а не игра.
