Pixel Boy and the Ever Expanding Dungeon — это, блин, одна из тех игр, которые выглядят как простенькая пиксельная инди-дрочильня, а на деле затягивают не по-детски. Pixel Boy and the Ever Expanding Dungeon — это, блин, отличный инди-рогалик, который до сих пор способен подарить кучу удовольствия.
To be honest this feels like it isn't finished. A lot of the mechanics don't seem like much work went into them, the pacing is much slower than you might think, and over all the game was super boring. A mediocre bullet hell/rogue lite at best but I just didn't enjoy it. Hard pass.

Level3···emmm····
Another potential great game that has been done half cooked. Also there is alot of bug. but still enjoyable game. You will love the variety of powerups offered in this game. S0YxSauCe's overall score : 6/10
Nonetheless this game is less than you expect. Play Zelda and stop complaining about bad games.
+ Relaxing music; + At some point you can enjoy this, if you want something so simple, stupid. Just turn off your brain, and let your hands do the job; + For a trashy and cheap PIXEL game like this, it has decent graphics. - Same levels; - Same enemies; - Too bright colours; - Nothing special, just holding LMB and WASD for 5 minutes for each level; - At first you might enjoy this, but the more you play, the more you regret.
A primitive platformer with an uncomfortable combat system. Boring.
▀▄▀▄▀▄ Pixel Boy and the Ever Expanding Dungeon ▄▀▄▀▄▀
TL,DR Review Now delisted from the Steam store, Pixel Boy likely won't be missed. Terrible writing, shallow rogue-like elements and overuse of bloom lighting. It isn't outright horrible or offensive, just really mediocre. Full Review So with the recent announcement that this game would be removed from the Steam Store soon, I figured I'd revisit it after getting it in a indie bundle years ago. Pixel Boy and the Ever Expanding Dungeon is exactly how I remember it. While the description touts that this is a action RPG shoot em up, the game barely qualifies as that by a slim margin. This is a bare-bones attempt at something like Binding of Issac. The game is a top down twin stick shooter with a shallow ammo system that doesn't do much other than alter your bullet behavior, a very basic armor system that has a small benefit at best, movement speed like a snail and enemy variety that wears out it's welcome within 10 minutes. Visually it's functional, it goes for a look that every voxel game has done before it. It isn't offensive, but just generic all around. Music gives the same impression and the narrator is extremely cringe-y with one-liners and outbursts that will leave you between boredom and irritation whenever he speaks. Cringe-worthy humor, way too much bloom lighting, and bland game-play. While appropriately priced for $1, you wouldn't miss anything if you moved on and completely forgot about it, Pixel Boy is a skip.
