Warning: Asset Flip!
Pixel Battle Royale is a Unity Asset flip, what Valve calls a "fake game". The "developer", FreezeNova, took the UnitZ Battlegrounds Unity Store game assets from the real developers, Hardworker Studio, changed the name, and dumped the result onto Steam. They're attempting to scam people into buying DLC (palette swapped character assets) for this, so they can get your money for someone else's work. It gets worse... "UnitZ Battlegrounds" has also been shamelessly dumped on Steam by other asset flippers apart from FreezeNova:

"Megacraft Hentai Survival", asset flipped by Sweet Games/Boom Team
"Battle Royale Survival", asset flipped by The Commander
"Mine Royale", asset flipped by DHC-APPS
"Pixel Royale", asset flipped by Antonio Renna
"Smash team", asset flipped by Kedexa/Kedexa
Take a look for yourself... these are all exactly the same game! Because this is an almost exact 1:1 copy + paste of the original Unity asset, it's in violation of the Unity Asset Store Terms of Service and EULA. Specifically, Section 2, Subsection 2.2.1a:
Subject to the restrictions set forth in this EULA, Licensor hereby grants to the END-USER a non-exclusive, non-transferable, worldwide, and perpetual license to the Asset solely:(a) to incorporate the Asset, together with substantial, original content not obtained through the Unity Asset Store, into an electronic application or digital media that has a purpose, features, and functions beyond the display, performance, distribution, or use of Assets ("Licensed Product") as an embedded component of that Licensed Product, such that the Asset does not comprise a substantial portion of the Licensed Product
Because the developer misused the asset pack such that it comprises the vast majority of this "game", the developer has unethically and deliberately breached the license agreement. Worse, this intellectual property violation was done in an attempt to profit from their illicit actions. Why is this permitted on Steam? The products that result from asset flips aren't "real" games. They lack depth and content, because they're just simplistic copies of demos or tutorials. In this case, "UnitZ Battlegrounds" is just a low poly/voxel art style third person shooter demo/asset pack, and doesn't have any merit as a proper, fully fledged PC game, so this copy+paste of it can't be recommended. Asset flips don't involve any professional game development. Sure, sometimes they may change a few cosmetic things, swap out different assets etc, but at heart it's functionally identical to the asset they're ripping off. Asset flips like this are harmful to the gaming industry and to Steam because they reduce the visibility that sincerely made indie games should have, and make it harder for gamers to find real games from genuine developers. Don't reward this morally bankrupt, unethical behaviour from FreezeNova.

i liked this game.
This isn’t just a bad game. This is a CRIME. Whoever developed this monstrosity should be tried at The Hague for WAR CRIMES against gaming. The graphics look like someone microwaved an N64 cartridge and then smeared Vaseline on the screen. The characters don’t walk—they glide around like broken Roombas. Explosions look like someone sneezed on a JPEG. I’ve seen better graphics on my kid’s Etch-A-Sketch. But OH NO, the graphics are NOTHING compared to the absolute NIGHTMARE of being kicked back to the lobby every 5 seconds. You’ll be in the middle of a fight, finally doing well, and BOOM—back to the lobby. No warning, no message, just “haha screw you.” At this point I spend more time staring at the loading screen than actually playing. This isn’t a game, it’s a lobby simulator. Congratulations devs, you reinvented waiting. And the frequency? IT’S CONSTANT. It’s not a bug, it’s a FEATURE. It happens so often I’m starting to think the lobby is the actual game and the matches are just a cutscene. I’ve had phone apps made by one guy in his basement run smoother than this dumpster fire. Now let’s talk about MULTIPLAYER. Oh wait—we can’t, because it DOESN’T EXIST in any working form. I bought this specifically to play with my wife and FIVE kids. I was ready for family game nights. Do you know what I got instead? Divorce papers. My kids disowned me. My wife left me for a guy who plays Tetris because at least that works. I’ve invested THOUSANDS of hours trying to get this garbage heap to connect us, but it just crashes, freezes, and laughs in my face. Multiplayer? More like MULTIPLAYER-NEVER. In conclusion: this “game” is not a game. It’s a scam. It’s a fever dream coded by raccoons fighting over a keyboard. It’s so bad I wouldn’t recommend it to my worst enemy. If I had a choice between playing this again or stepping barefoot on LEGOs for eternity, hand me the LEGOs. This is not entertainment—it’s psychological warfare disguised as software.
