Your only goal is to ascend the pit. And it is not enough to survive: you must win. Choose whichever power you think will help you, whether to strengthen your normal shot, to give you a special power, or to improve your skill. But despite all of your power, despite your skillful roll, you are destined to die. And you're destined to try again. Pit of Ascension would have been right at home on the Game Boy, a simple game that's quick to play and a test of skill. Here in Early Access, there's a lack of powers and bosses and tunes, but the formula for success is here. Boss fights are (mostly) satisfying, challenging, and most importantly all about skill. The only question is, do you want to try it now, or do you want to wait for the official release when the prices doubles?
